Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a stepping exerciser which can be moved free. When in use, the user wears the stepping exerciser to jump or step for exercise or amusement. This is beneficial for promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis and digesting.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] These days, people are busy in working. Besides, the outdoor exercise facilities are not enough or far away from the home. Sometimes, the weather may influence the will of the people to exercise. Due to these reasons, more and more people purchases indoor exercisers to exercise anytime and anywhere. There are many sports apparatuses on the market, such as treadmill, rowing machines, stepping machines or the like. After a period of time, it is hard to attract the consumers to purchase the sports apparatuses if there are no new and innovative products.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a stepping exerciser which can be moved free. The user can use one or two stepping exerciser as desired. When in use, the user wears the stepping exerciser to jump or step for exercise or amusement. This is beneficial for promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis and digesting.

[0006] In order to achieve the aforesaid object, the stepping exerciser of the present invention comprises a lower main body and an upper main body.

[0007] The lower main body comprises a bottom board. The bottom board has a lower resilient portion extending upward. The lower resilient portion has a crescent-like shape. Preferably, the lower resilient portion is made of a deformable material. The lower resilient portion has a pair of lower axle holes at two ends thereof. The bottom of the lower main body is connected to a bottom pad. Preferably, the bottom pad is made of a soft and cushioning material.

[0008] The upper main body comprises a top board. The top board has an upper resilient portion extending downward. The upper resilient portion has a crescent-like shape. Preferably, the upper resilient portion is made of a deformable material. The upper resilient portion has a pair of upper axle holes at two ends thereof. The top of the upper main body is provided with a stop member and a sleeve member. The sleeve member is adapted for insertion of the foot or shoe of the user.

[0009] The concave of the upper resilient portion faces the concave of the lower resilient portion and the two ends are pivoted to form an oval shape.

[0010] The adjacent upper and lower axle holes at the two ends of the upper main body and the lower main body are pivoted by a shaft member. The shaft member has threaded portions at two ends thereof. Each threaded portion is adapted for connection of a nut.

[0011] The present invention has the following advantages. The arc-shaped upper and lower resilient portions are pivoted to form an oval shape. When in use, the user wears the stepping exerciser to jump and step for exercise. This is beneficial for promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis and digesting. The user can move freely for exercise or amusement. The user can use one or two stepping exerciser as desired.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0012] FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention;

[0013] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention;

[0014] FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing that the stepping exercise of the present invention is treaded down by the user;

[0015] FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing that the stepping exercise of the present invention is bounced up;

[0016] FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of the sleeve member of the present invention; and

[0017] FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing a further embodiment of the sleeve member of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0018] Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0019] Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the stepping exerciser according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a lower main body 1 and an upper main body 2.

[0020] The lower main body 1 comprises a bottom board 11. The bottom board 11 has a lower resilient portion 12 extending upward. The lower resilient portion 12 has a crescent-like shape. Preferably, the lower resilient portion 12 is made of a deformable material. The lower resilient portion 12 has a pair of lower axle holes 13 at two ends thereof. The bottom of the lower main body 1 is connected to a bottom pad 14. Preferably, the bottom pad 14 is made of a soft and cushioning material.

[0021] The upper main body 2 comprises a top board 21. The top board 21 has an upper resilient portion 22 extending downward. The upper resilient portion 22 has a crescent-like shape. Preferably, the upper resilient portion 22 is made of a deformable material. The upper resilient portion 22 has a pair of upper axle holes 23 at two ends thereof. The top of the upper main body 2 is provided with a stop member 24 and a sleeve member 25. The sleeve member 25 is adapted for insertion of the foot or shoe of the user.

[0022] A shaft member 3 is inserted through the adjacent upper and lower axle holes 23, 13 so that the two ends of the upper main body 1 and the lower main body 2 are pivoted. The shaft member 3 has threaded portions 31 at two ends thereof. Each threaded portion 31 is adapted for connection of a nut 32.

[0023] When in use, the foot of the user is inserted between the sleeve member 25 and the top board 21, referring to FIG. 3. Because the two ends of the upper resilient portion 22 and the lower resilient portion 12 are pivoted, the upper resilient portion 22 and the lower resilient portion 12 are mated with each other to form an oval shape. When the user applies a force with his/her foot to press the stepping exerciser down, the upper resilient portion 22 and the lower resilient portion 12 are deformed toward their two outer ends to decrease the gap. Afterward, by their own resilience of the upper resilient portion 22 and the lower resilient portion 12, the upper resilient portion 22 and the lower resilient portion 12 bounce upward to push the foot 4 upward. As shown in FIG. 4, repeating the up and down motion, the user can do jumping exercise to exercise the entire body of the user, particularly, to the digestive organs, such as intestines and stomach. The present invention can achieve the objects, such as, exercise, digestive, promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis, amusement and the like.

[0024] FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show the sleeve members 26, 27 in different configurations or forms.

[0025] Another feature of the present invention is that the stepping exerciser is only for one foot. Normally, the user can wear two stepping exercisers with his/her both feet so that he/she can move freely or walk fast to step up the exercise, not like the conventional stepper which is placed at a location and is stationary.

[0026] The present invention is compact and can be stored conveniently, not occupying space. The stepping exercise of the present invention has a simple configuration and it is not expensive for the consumer to purchase it easily.

[0027] Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
