20160017605WALL PANEL CONNECTING SYSTEM FOR MODULAR BUILDING UNITS - Disclosed is a connecting system for connecting wall panels to the support frame, and more particularly to the rigid corner support posts of a support frame, of a modular building unit. The connecting system includes a modular bracket assembly and is configured so that two modular connecting brackets attach to each corner vertical support column, which modular brackets are configured to receive the vertical edge of a wall panel. The brackets themselves are configured for easy replacement and/or adjustment through minimal effort, are fully symmetrical to allow use of bracket elements at varied locations, and may be replaced or adjusted particularly without removing, altering, or otherwise disturbing the corner vertical support column of the frame of the modular building unit.01-21-2016
20080289274Half panel - The present invention provides a half panel having on its back ribs defining symmetrically complimentary closed wall open faced cells and ribs having spaces there between. The half panel may be placed in back to back relationship and rotated through a required degree of rotation so that the open faced closed wall cells and ribs having spaces there between interlock so the open faced closed wall cells have at least one diagonal cross member. This provides a rigid panel suitable for a number of applications including forms for pouring concrete.11-27-2008

20100024333LOCKING SYSTEM FOR A NON PERFECTLY STRETCHED SUSPENDED PARTITION - A system for attaching non perfectly stretched suspended partitions made of a flexible web attached at the edges thereof to a frame attached to the walls or the ceiling of a room in a building, the frame including rails with a shoulder on which the edge bears, is characterised in that the edge has the shape of a hook and includes a wing through which it is connected to the web and a seam, The edge is made of a semi-flexible material and has a flexibility level such that the two branches a and are spread apart by at least 45° from each other after the edge has been inserted into the rail so that the portion of the inner face of the seam, located towards the free end of the seam is in contact with the shoulder and thus ensures a frictional blocking of the edge in the rail.02-04-2010
20110173908Method and Apparatus for Reducing Solar Radiation Absorption Through a Roof - Structures and methods use a high-albedo fabric to cover the surface of building roofs, thereby shielding the roof from solar radiation that would otherwise be absorbed into the roof as heat. The high-albedo fabric may be standard or a modified version of SunTex® 90% woven polyester-polyvinyl fabric. Produced in large sizes, the material may be placed on the roof similar to how wall-to-wall carpet is installed, with bonded seams and cutouts for the vents, stacks, and other roof structures. The high-albedo fabric may be adhered to the roof surface and attached the roof edges with fabric binding clips, thereby ensuring the fabric is resistant to wind damage. The high-albedo fabric may be printed with designs (e.g., shingle or roof tile patterns) that enable the fabric to be applied to existing structures without altering the aesthetic appearance of the roof.07-21-2011

Compressing the adjoined blocks and structural members by the spanning compression mechanism locks the blocks and structural members together in a manner to resist applied forces.10-15-2009
20100005740Lightweight Interior Sidewall and Method for Fabricating the Same - A lightweight interior sidewall and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The lightweight interior sidewall is formed by a plurality of adjacent slabs. A method for fabricating the slabs includes forming a concrete block made of cement, fine sand, bamboo-shaped short fibers and a lightweight aggregate material, cutting the block to form multiple slabs, and grinding a central region of two sides of each slab to form a longitudinal groove therein. The method for fabricating the lightweight interior sidewall includes disposing multiple slabs adjacent to each other, securing each slab between a reverse U-shaped clamp on the ceiling and a support element on the floor, and filling a cement mortar into the longitudinal grooves to bind the slabs together. The lightweight and robust sidewall can be thereby formed in an efficient manner.01-14-2010
