Description:
BACKGROUND
[0001] The present invention relates to a shoe cover, and more particularly to a sole shoe worn over a boot, enabling a boot lover to show a trendy look without purchasing a new boot.
[0002] As known in the market, a unisex style of sheepskin boot also known as an Ugg boot had been introduced. They are typically made of twin-faced sheepskin with fleece on the inside, a tanned outer surface and a synthetic sole. Ugg boots are initially known as utilitarian footwear worn for warmth. Ugg boots emerged as a fashion trend in the United States in the late 1990s and as a world-wide trend in the mid-2000s.
[0003] A market demand is to wear Ugg boots in a further trendy manner. Due to convenience and warmth more youngsters buy those boots in winter. Limitations are their relatively high prices and lack of fashion attachable thereon.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] Accordingly, the present invention is contrived to overcome the conventional disadvantages.
[0005] An objective of this invention is to provide a sole shoe wearable over a boot enabling a boot lover to show a trendy look without purchasing a new boot.
[0006] Another objective of this invention is to provide a sole shoe wearable over a boot allowing a taller look without any visible sign.
[0007] Still another objective of this invention is to provide a sole shoe wearable over a boot enabling a boot lover to enjoy additional merits of slip resistance, water resistance and shock resistance with a simple wear of the sole shoe over the boot.
[0008] To achieve the above and other objectives, a sole shoe wearable over a boot, comprises: a sole having a top surface, a bottom surface and a sole edge line forming a first loop; a flange extending upwardly from and along the sole edge line to form a second loop above the first loop, wherein the second loop is shorter than the first loop in perimeter to enable the flange to tighten the boot when the sole shoe is elastically worn over the boot using a predetermined shoehorn, wherein a groove is formed in an outer surface of the flange and along the sole edge line; a support rail extending from and along the second loop of the flange to provide an additional elasticity to the boot; and a grid structure formed in cross of side to side horizontal plates and front to rear vertical plates, on a rear part of the sole top surface, wherein a cross support is formed on and around each cross of the horizontal and vertical plates, wherein the horizontal and vertical plates are substantially incremental in height from around a center of the sole top surface toward the rear part of the sole top surface.
[0009] The sole shoe wearable over a boot may be formed such that the sole, flange and the grid structure are formed of a single material or polyurethane plastics. The groove is substantially parallel to the sole bottom surface to generate an illusion effect making the grid structure non-existent. The grid structure has five horizontal plates and two vertical plates. The sole bottom surface sole is formed slip resistant. The sole bottom surface sole is formed shock resistant. The sole shoe is formed water resistant. The flange includes an artistic design.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, a sole shoe according to the present invention will now be explained. A sole shoe kit 100 includes a sole shoe 110 and a shoehorn 120. The sole shoe 110 is fabricated to be worn over a boot 130. In specific, the sole shoe 110 is worn over a boot sole 132 of the boot 130. The boot is preferably a winter boot having a substantially flat bottom.
[0018] The sole shoe 110 comprises a sole 115 having a top surface 140, a bottom surface 142 and a sole edge line 144 forming a first loop. The sole shoe 110 further comprises a flange 146 extending upwardly from and along the sole edge line 144 to form a second loop 148 above the first loop. In this construction, the second loop is preferably shorter than the first loop in perimeter so as to enable the flange 146 to tighten the boot 130 when the sole shoe 110 is elastically worn over the boot 130 using a predetermined shoehorn 120.
[0019] In a preferred embodiment, a groove 160 is formed in an outer surface 147 of the flange 146 and along the sole edge line 144. The groove 160 is provided to seek an esthetic effect as well as a practical illusion effect. The groove 160 is formed substantially parallel to the sole bottom 142 surface to generate an illusion effect making the grid structure non-existent.
[0020] For a better performance, the sole shoe 100 further comprises a grid structure 150 formed in cross of side to side horizontal plates 156 and front to rear vertical plates 158, on a rear part 152 of the sole top surface 140. A cross support 154 is formed on and around each cross of the horizontal 156 and vertical 158 plates. The horizontal and vertical plates 156, 158 are substantially incremental in height from around a center 145 of the sole top surface 140 toward the rear part 152 of the sole top surface 140.
[0021] In another embodiment, The sole shoe 110 further comprises a support rail 170 extending from and along the second loop 148 of the flange 146 to provide an additional elasticity to the boot 130.
[0022] To manufacture the sole shoe 110, a variety of different materials may be employed. Preferably, the sole 115, the flange 146 and the grid structure 150 are formed of a single material. In order to maximize the product reliability, the sole 115, the flange 146 and the grid structure 150 may be formed of polyurethane plastics.
[0023] The grid structure 150 has preferably five horizontal plates 156 and two vertical plates 158. The sole bottom surface 142 is formed slip resistant orshock resistant. The sole shoe 110 is formed water resistant to protect the boot 130. The flange 146 includes an artistic design, a design of an animal or other trendy designs.
[0024] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
