Abstract:
A golf training device used to place the putter square to the golf ball
and or target at address. The device consists of a straight back edge
roughly the same length as a putter head. An open slot starts from the
front going through the center of the device to a point where the ball
sets at the same distance from the putter as the back of the device at
address. The ball sets into the device at a straight line to the hole or
target when placed into the slot of the device. If the golf ball is
struck with the putter head parallel to the back of the device, and the
slot is straight to the hole or target, the path of the ball to the hole
or target will be straight. This improves grip and stance at address
giving a true path to the hole or target as well as topspin from missing
the device for a better roll.Claims:
1. A golf training device consisting of a straight back edge roughly the
same length as a putter head with an open slot that starts from the front

straight put.Description:
SUMMARY
[0001] A golf training device used to place the putter square to the golf ball and or target at address.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0002] FIG. 1 is in relation to the position of the putter at address to the device.
[0003] FIGS. 2 and 3 are the dimensions of the device.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0004] FIG. 1 illustrates the relationship of the putter to the device from the top view looking down at the device from the putting stance. The ball sets into the slot at the center of the device to position the putter square to the ball. FIG. 2 illustrates the dimensions of the device from the top view. The device is 4 inches long and 2.75 inches wide. The slot is 1.5 inches wide and ends 0.44 inches from the back edge of the device. The sides 1.25'' from the back of the device are 90 degrees to the back of the device. A one inch half circle is where the ball sets. FIG. 3 illustrates the thickness of the device which is 1/8 of an inch at the front and 1/16 of an inch at the back.
