20130219606 | MULTI-FLUSH MODE TOILET - An actuation mechanism comprising a first handle, a second handle, a housing, a link arm member provided within the housing and pivotally coupled to the handles, and a moveable stop member provided within the housing. The first handle may be mounted to a first side of a toilet tank, and the second handle may be mounted coaxially relative to the first handle on the first side. The housing may be mounted to a second side of the tank. A rotation of one of the first and second handles results in rotation of the link arm member being limited by the moveable stop member such that the link arm member is permitted to rotate a first amount. Rotation of both the first and second handles results in movement of the moveable stop member such that the link arm member is permitted to rotate a second amount greater than the first amount. | 08-29-2013 |

20100036633 | Method and apparatus for calibrating wood testing machine - This improved method of calibrating wood testing machines includes improved test bars, shim and software to direct the operator through the steps of calibration, storing interim results and calculating new calibration factors based on values read when the test bars are placed in the wood testing machine. This method avoids a number of problems in previous methods and apparatus. It properly corrects for changes in deflection in the measurement apparatus and changes in straightness of the test bars. The result is a more stable and reliable calibration that is referenced to precise measurement of the EI product for the test bar. | 02-11-2010 |

20100146960 | EXTERNALLY MOUNTED VARIATOR FOR SPLIT TORQUE TRANSMISSION - A split torque transmission for a work machine is provided. The split torque transmission includes a transmission housing. A variator pump is mounted to an exterior surface of the transmission housing. A variator motor is operably coupled to the variator pump and mounted to the exterior surface of the transmission housing. | 06-17-2010 |
20120152056 | Multiple-variator control for split power CVT and hydrostatic transmissions - A system for providing hydraulic power in a machine transmission includes a first hydraulic variator and a second hydraulic variator, each variator having a mechanical input to a hydraulic pump, and a hydraulic motor linked to the hydraulic pump via a hydraulic circuit, and a mechanical output from the hydraulic motor. In an embodiment, the first hydraulic circuit side of one variator is hydraulically connected to the first hydraulic side of the other variator, and the second hydraulic circuit sides are likewise linked together. A common input is geared to the inputs of the variators and a common output is geared to the outputs of the variators, tying the pump and motor of each variator to rotate at the same speed as the counterpart components of the other variator. | 06-21-2012 |

20100125398 | Service Brake Control System For Optimized Regenerative Braking Of Medium Or Heavy Trucks - Braking control for a hybrid vehicle provides both service and regenerative mode braking for the driven wheels. A hybrid drive system is coupled to the driven wheels to provide traction power and which is capable of operating in a regenerative braking mode. The service brakes are provided by pneumatically actuated service brakes coupled to the driven wheels. Braking is initiated conventionally using an operator controlled brake actuator. A pressure regulator is placed in a pneumatic brake actuation line coupled from the operator controlled brake actuator to the pneumatically actuated service brakes for the driven wheels. The pressure regulator initially closes during braking, preventing operation of the service brakes up to the limit of the ability of the hybrid drive system to absorb torque for regenerative braking. When the torque limit for the hybrid drive system is reached, the regulator opens the actuation line progressively allowing the service brakes to supplement the hybrid drive system. During loss of traction events regenerative braking is discontinued to avoid interference with operation of anti-lock braking of the vehicle's service brakes. | 05-20-2010 |

20090252255 | PREDISTORTION METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR POLAR MODULATION TRANSMITTERS - Methods and apparatus for predistorting signals in a polar modulation transmitter. An exemplary method includes predistorting an envelope component signal in an amplitude path of a polar modulation transmitter according to a set of AM/AM predistortion coefficients, and predistorting a phase component signal in a phase path of the polar modulation transmitter according to a set of AM/PM predistortion coefficients. The AM/AM and AM/PM predistortion coefficients are stored in a memory in the form of a look up table (LUT). The envelope component signal is scaled and/or offset, before predistortion is applied, by an amount dependent upon which average power level of a plurality of average power levels the power amplifier of the polar modulation transmitter is configured to operate. Scaling and/or offsetting the envelope component signal prior to applying predistortion affords the ability to share the AM/AM and AM/PM predistortion coefficients of the predistortion LUT over the plurality of average power levels. | 10-08-2009 |
20090290631 | METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCING MODULATION SIGNAL BANDWIDTH IN POLAR MODULATION TRANSMITTERS - Methods and apparatus for reducing the bandwidth of modulation signals in a phase path of a polar modulation transmitter. An exemplary method includes generating a phase difference modulation signal for a phase path of a polar modulation transmitter, and filtering the phase difference modulation signal using a linear-phase filter. Filtering the phase difference modulation signal may be performed by first detecting samples in the phase difference modulation signal that have phase difference values in excess of a phase difference threshold and then filtering samples in the vicinity of the threshold-violating samples to remove the threshold-violating events. Alternatively, all samples may be filtered, i.e., without regard as to whether any given sample exceeds a phase difference threshold, to remove large phase difference changes in the phase difference modulation signal, or a combination of linear-phase and nonlinear filters may be used to remove the large phase difference changes. | 11-26-2009 |
20100081397 | TIME ALIGNMENT METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR POLAR MODULATION TRANSMITTERS - A polar modulation transmitter includes an amplitude modulation (AM) path with an amplitude modulation to amplitude modulation (AM/AM′) correction circuit and a phase modulation (PM) path with a delay element and an amplitude modulation to phase modulation (AM′/PM) correction circuit. The AM/AM′ correction circuit receives and predistorts a digital amplitude component signal depending on amplitudes of samples in the digital amplitude component signal, thereby generating a predistorted digital amplitude component signal. The delay element receives and delays a digital phase component signal, to generate a delayed digital phase component signal having a delay corresponding to the latency introduced by the AM/AM′ correction circuit. The AM′/PM correction circuit predistorts the delayed digital phase component signal depending on amplitudes of samples in the predistorted amplitude component signal, thereby generating a predistorted digital phase component signal. | 04-01-2010 |
