20130126152 | PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD - A pressure relief device and a hydraulic fracturing system having a pressure relief device are provided. In one form, the pressure relief device has a valve body with a linearly extending throughbore between the inlet and outlet thereof. A rupture disc is secured in the valve body so that a frangible dome wall portion thereof has a reverse-acting orientation in the valve body bore. The hydraulic fracturing system includes a pump and a delivery line that receives pressurized fracturing fluid from the pump and delivers it to a well. A pressure relief device is installed along the delivery line. A sensor detects fluid flow downstream of the pressure relief device which allows the pump to be shut down when the downstream fluid flow is detected. The pressure relief device can have a body with a domed rupture disc and the sensor therein. | 05-23-2013 |

20120148348 | System for reeling pipeline - A pipe reeling system can be positioned in a location adjacent a dock to prepare spools of wound pipeline. The pipe segments are delivered to the facility from a steel mill or other manufacturer and placed on one or more pipe storage racks in a first orientation. The pipe segments are then moved to an elevated pipe feeding bed, from which they are fed in a second direction, transverse to the first direction through a plurality of weld stations. The pipe segments welded end-to-end form a continuous pipe unit, which is transferred to a spool and wound thereon. The spools can be prepared in advance of a request from a pipeline operator and stored in the facility on the reels until required. | 06-14-2012 |

20120207546 | Apparatus for entrenching underwater pipelines - An underwater trenching machine is particularly adapted to clear anodes secured on a pipeline while maintaining engagement of the propulsion assembly with the pipeline. A plurality of rollers of the propulsion assembly grippingly engages opposing sides of the pipeline. The rollers are secured on powered articulated connector arms in pairs. As the rollers come into contact with the anodes, the connector arms cause forward rollers to temporarily move out of contact with the pipeline, while remainder of the rollers maintain the contact with the pipeline. As the first pair of rollers clears the anode it returns to its normal gripping position relative to the pipeline, while the next pair of rollers moves out of engagement with the pipeline. The trenching machine also has a ballast tank and air jet assemblies mounted on the ballast tank for maintaining vertical alignment as the trenching machine moves along the pipeline. | 08-16-2012 |
