20150309391 | PROTECTIVE HOUSING - A protective housing for a camera system mounted on a platform is described. The housing is formed in a domed shape and covers sensitive optical systems. The housing is mounted on or forms part of the external housing of the seeker system. The housing is optically transparent whilst also being conductive. In this way, the housing allows transmission of multiple wavelengths of radiation through the housing whilst also acting so as to reduce radar cross section of the platform and preventing transmission of electromagnetic rf pulse in to the sensitive optical systems of the seeker system. | 10-29-2015 |

20140118465 | CALLEE REJECTION INFORMATION FOR REJECTED VOICE CALLS - A system includes a rejection module in a phone configured to receive calls over a network and a remote rejection announcement server (RAS) configured to receive calls over the network. The rejection module is configured to generate at least a portion of an incoming call user interface (UI) on the phone. The UI indicates incoming call signalling, associated with an incoming call from a caller, over a call signalling path in the network. One or more rejection options is provided for selection by a caller. Rejection reason data is generated based on selecting one of the rejection options. The rejection reason data is sent using a rejection reason path separate from the call signalling path. The remote RAS is configured to receive the incoming call from the caller, receive the rejection reason data over the rejection reason path, and generate an audio/video message based on the rejection reason data. | 05-01-2014 |

20110103874 | UNIVERSAL PENCIL MECHANISM - A pencil mechanism replaces a ballpoint pen refill and has an actuator for containing lead. A point of the mechanism is slidably mounted to the actuator and has a shoulder to engage a step in the pen when an end of the point projects from a writing end of the pen. The point has an open end for projecting the writing tip of the lead and a bushing for frictionally engaging the lead in the point to allow for, but resist axial movement of the lead. A point spring between actuator and point biases them apart and a clutch is slidably mounted to the actuator and point. The clutch has fingers for receiving lead and the actuator engages the clutch to close the fingers and fix the lead. Further forward movement of the actuator projects a writing tip of the lead from the pen as the shoulder engages the step to fix the writing tip in a writing position. The actuator is movable rearwardly for releasing the clutch and the lead and allowing the clutch to move rearwardly in the pen for a repeat of the lead feeding cycle. | 05-05-2011 |

20110268491 | Expandable Writing Instrument - An expandable writing instrument has a writing end body section and a rear body section mounted to the writing end body section for relative axial and non-rotational movement between an extended position with the rear body section spaced away from the writing end body section, and a retracted position with the rear body section closer to the writing end body section. A spring in the writing end body section biases the cartridge upwardly. A helix cylinder is mounted for rotation and axial movement in the rear body section with a peg of the rear body section sliding in a track of the helix cylinder. The track is a closed loop with left and right hand helixes so that axial movement of the rear body section causes rotation of the helix cylinder continuously in one rotational direction. A shuttle receives a cartridge body and is mounted for axial movement in the helix cylinder. A shuttle cam on the shuttle is mounted for axial non-rotational movement to the writing end body section. Shuttle cam surfaces slidably engage cam surfaces of the helix cylinder and the cam surfaces include a high point that engages a flat portion of another cam surface for moving the shuttle with rotation of the helix cylinder, to project a writing tip of a cartridge out of the bottom opening in the extended position. | 11-03-2011 |
20120315074 | Multi-Function Writing Instrument with Propulsion Mechanism - A multi-function writing instrument includes a front section having a writing point opening and a rear section having an eraser opening. The rear section and the front section are rotatably connected to each other. A plurality of marking tips are disposed in the front section. One of the marking tips is a pencil lead marking tip. The marking tips are alternately selectable for extension through the writing point opening. An eraser holder is movably disposed in the rear section. An eraser is mounted in the eraser holder. The eraser holder is selectable for extension through the eraser opening. A means for simultaneously propelling the pencil lead marking tip through the writing point opening and the eraser through the eraser opening upon rotation of the front section relative to the rear section is housed in the multi-function writing instrument. | 12-13-2012 |
