20150016811 | CIRCULATION HEATER - A circulation heater is provided which uses a cast body, having resistance heating elements therein and also having spirally wound Teflon tubing wrapped about the heater body. The heater body is formed of cast aluminum or other suitable cast material and after casting is machined to form at least one spiral channel for receiving the heater tube therein. The heater tube is pressed into the tubing channel as the heater tube is progressively wound spirally about the heater body. The channel is formed with an undercut profile wherein the channel is undercut to form a narrower mouth which allows the heater tube to be compressed and then snapped into the channel. The profile of this channel insures direct contact between the tubing and the channel wall over greater than 180 degrees or more than one half of the tube circumference to increase the area of surface contact between the heater tube and channel surface. | 01-15-2015 |

20110133920 | Method & Apparatus for Improving Fuel Efficiency of Mass-Transit Vehicles - Vehicles (and particularly mass-transit vehicles) that are powered by internal-combustion engines can realize fuel savings and reduce greenhouse gas and waste heat emissions by moving some of the load of generating electricity for the vehicle's systems to different times in the vehicle's operation. During periods of heavy engine load (e.g., acceleration and hill-climbing) electrical generation may be reduced. During periods of light load, braking, hill-descending and other conversions of kinetic energy to heat, electrical generation may be increased. | 06-09-2011 |

20100007293 | PROGRAMMABLE POWER-CONTROL CIRCUIT AND METHODS OF OPERATION - An electric-motor controller uses multiple semiconductor switches in parallel, arranged so as to improve turn-on and turn-off synchronization. A physical “sandwich” arrangement improves manufacturability of some embodiments. A system using the controller can recharge a battery pack from a charging source of a different voltage by using a field coil of the motor as an inductor in a step-up or step-down circuit. Controller software monitors parameters such as battery voltage, temperature and current to adjust system operation. | 01-14-2010 |

20090278671 | Tactile Feedback Input Device - An input device includes an input device chassis. At least one tactile feedback module is coupled to the input device chassis. The tactile feedback module includes a first electromagnet and a second electromagnet located in a spaced apart relationship from the first electromagnet. A mass includes a pair of opposing ends and is located between the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet. A permanent magnet is located on each of the opposing ends of the mass. The mass is operable to move along an axis between the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet and may be moved to produce a variety of forces on the input device in order to provide tactile feedback. | 11-12-2009 |

20080257129 | MITCHEL'S TONE RING MATE - “Mitchel's Tone Ring Mate” is completely new to the banjo world. The “Mitchel's Tone Ring Mate” is a smaller tone ring in itself, sitting on top of the original raised head tone ring at 25 thousands higher and at opposite angles, thus converting the original raised head tone ring to a flat head tone ring. Being completely different than any other invention. This doing, by design, composition and development, unknown in manufacturing there into. | 10-23-2008 |
