20140125676 | Feature Type Spectrum Technique - Objects in a sample set, and/or data representing those objects, are analyzed to determine whether the objects have features in a feature set. Each object may be analyzed more than once to produce multiple determinations of whether the object has features in the feature set. The frequencies with which features in the feature set are observed in the objects in the object set may be used to produce output representing the frequencies of observation. An example of such output is a bar chart representing the frequency of observation of features in the feature set in a particular object. The feature output may be used to identify one or more obscure (i.e., low frequency) features in the particular object. Various operations performed by the system may be performed by computers, humans, or a combination thereof. | 05-08-2014 |
20140180677 | Analogy Finder - A user provides a query that includes at least two of a subject, a predicate, and an object. A computer system identifies synonyms of one or more of the subject, predicate, and object, and forms new queries from the identified synonyms. The system searches a dataset using the new queries, and possibly also using the user-provided query, to produce search results. The system may process the search results, such as by filtering and/or sorting them. The system provides output representing the search results to the user. The user may use the search result output to identify answers that are analogous to answers to the query originally provided by the user. | 06-26-2014 |

20110155024 | Collapsable travel tray - A fold-up platform, which can function as a tray table, is mounted to the back of the front seat in any transportation vehicle and is self-suspending. The portable unit is suspended by first being attached to each support post of the front seat head rest and then hooked to the bottom of the seat frame at a point above the seat adjustment tracts on both the left and the right side with hooks attached to straps which are then pulled snug on the back of a seat by using tension devices on the straps. The mounting straps are reinforced with a mounting skeleton frame along the straps with fabric stitched to the frame and straps to keep the structure from twisting. The tray platform is made in two pieces so that it can be folded and then rotated into its storage position when not in use. The platform tray is made in two pieces by using a stiff flat material that is then covered with a soft padding material and enclosed in fabric. The two pieces are then hinged and fastened together along one edge to form the tray that is stiff and strong when in use yet collapsible under strong forces. This unit is then attached to the skeleton frame and support straps along one edge so as to be able to rotate to a horizontal or vertical position. One end of flexible material is then attached to the right of the tray at a position where the two stiff pieces of the tray meet. The other end of the material is attached to the frame and strapping above the tray and on the top edge of the frame in such a manner as to suspend and support the tray in a horizontal position. The same suspension is found on the left side. The tray can then be stored by folding the front stiff portion of the tray forward and down over the back stiff portion of the tray and then rotating the folded tray to a vertical position where it is attached to the frame with a locking device. When in the this position the tray is stored out of the way for easy access to the rear seats, when unclipped and folded out and down the tray is available for platform use while the two piece design makes it easily collapsible in an emergency situation. | 06-30-2011 |

20150062023 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCED RATE TOUCH SCANNING ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE - Embodiments of the present invention are capable of lowering touch scan rates in a manner that conserves power resources without compromising performance or user experience thereby promoting battery life. Embodiments of the present invention perform touch scan operations using a touch sensitive panel at a first scan rate. In response to certain events automatically detected within the mobile device (e.g., when a full-screen video is being displayed), embodiments of the present invention may then perform touch scan operations at a second scan rate that is slower than the first scan rate that also consumes less power compared to the first scan rate. As such, for events or use cases in which limited user interaction with the touch sensitive panel is typical, embodiments of the present invention may lower touch scan rates in a manner that still enables users to interact with applications (e.g., interaction with playback controls during video playback) and promotes efficient power usage and extends battery life. | 03-05-2015 |
