20140035489 | Battery Control and Protective Element Validation Method - A method, system and device for discharging power or validating protective elements of a power source to ensure proper functioning of a tool at various temperatures. The power source communicates with a switch using handshake signals to establish a scheme for power distribution depending on the temperature of the power source. The power source can discharge power at a normal start-up rate or a slower start-up rate depending on the temperature of the power source. Handshake signals can also be used to validate protective elements, where the protective elements respond to wake-up signals with respective handshake signals indicating that the protective elements are functioning property. | 02-06-2014 |

20140197280 | Delta Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Method of Manufacture of the Same - This disclosure pertains to the field of small-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The delta wing vehicle consists of an isosceles triangular shaped lifting body milled from Styrofoam. The longitudinal axis is approximately 65% of the lateral axis. The horizontal wing projections, or tiplets, are attached to the main lifting body at an approximately 10 degree upward angle from horizontal, have a 30 degree sweep back leading edge, and each one comprises 5% of the total wing area. The airfoil is a rhomboid or diamond shape. The chord is swept back at a 45-degree angle from the longitudinal centerline. The airfoil is symmetrical about the longitudinal center. The aircraft is controlled by a set of combined elevator/aileron surfaces (elevons) at the rear as well as a vertical stabilizer/rudder combination. This resulting lightweight UAV can make flat (unbanked) unbanked turns, fly in high winds, and has superior flexibility in payload capability. | 07-17-2014 |

20140380486 | Automated Detection and Validation of Sanitizers - Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for analyzing security of dataflows in programs. In some implementations, actions include processing source code using static analysis to: identify one or more dataflows and one or more candidate sanitizers, each candidate sanitizer being associated with a respective dataflow, and provide an executable sub-program for each candidate sanitizer to provide one or more executable sub-programs, processing the one or more executable sub-programs using dynamic analysis to: execute the one or more executable sub-programs, and provide dynamic analysis results, providing combined results based on the static analysis and the dynamic analysis, the combined results including the dynamic analysis results, and assigning a priority to each result in the combined results. | 12-25-2014 |
