20150093475 | Method for Facilitating Selection of a Pet Food - A method for facilitating the selection of a pet food based on the nutrient sources. A first pet food product and a second pet food product can be provided. Each pet food product can be put in a package and each package can have a primary nutrient source region with protein source indicia and a secondary nutrient region with secondary nutrient source indicium. The protein source indicia on the first and second package can be different. The primary source region and the secondary source region can comprise great than about 50% of the area of the front side of the package. | 04-02-2015 |

20100197004 | Microtiter plate to mitigate cell distribution bias from meniscus edge - A lid assembly is provided for mitigation or removal of meniscus along the periphery of sample liquid in the cavity wells of a microtiter plate. The assembly includes a lid plate having a mount surface, an array of plugs corresponding to the array of wells, and a plurality of posts. Each plug extends below from the mount surface and is insertable into the periphery of a counterpart well for contact with the liquid. The plurality of posts suspends the lid plate above the microtiter plate. Each post optionally passes through an orifice through the mount surface, with each post including an adjustable clamp to support the lid plate. The mount surface optionally includes an array of cavities that correspond in disposition to the array of plugs. Each plug is independently insertable through the mount surface to adjust depth of each plug into its counterpart well. | 08-05-2010 |

20110143109 | HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY ORANGE WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY TO DEER AND OTHER DICHROMATIC ANIMALS - The present invention relates to a material with high visibility to humans and low visibility to deer and other dichromatic animals, and a method for making the same. The color “Safety Orange” emits and reflects light at the long visible wavelengths of 595-605 nm, which are conspicuous to humans and largely unseen by dichromates. Common manufacturing and laundering practices cause existing Safety Orange products to also emit strongly at 455 nm and 496 nm, the peak sensitivity of deer blue cones and deer rods respectively. The present invention differentially reduces light emission and reflection at wavelengths below 500 nm for decreased visibility to dichromatic animals. This differential reduction preferably incorporates a pattern, such as a camouflage pattern, to further reduce visibility to deer. This pattern is preferably visible to dichromates while remaining largely invisible to humans. | 06-16-2011 |
