20090271380 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING SEARCH AND RETRIEVAL OPERATIONS TO BE PERFORMED FOR DATA ITEMS AND RECORDS USING DATA OBTAINED FROM ASSOCIATED VOICE FILES - A method and system are provided for using the contents of voice files as a basis for enabling search and other selection operations for data items that are associated with those voice files. Voice files may be received having associations with other data items, such as images or records. A corresponding text file is generated for each of the one or more voice files using programmatic means, such as a speech-to-text application. Each text file is provided an association with a data item based on the association of the voice file that served as the basis of its creation. Each text file is then made available for the performance of search and selection operations that result in the identification of associated data items. | 10-29-2009 |

20140149544 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR NETWORK SERVICES - A first device implements an application platform that is shared with a second device. The application platform can be implemented so that the first device and the second device operate to have a same identity to at least the network service. The first device provides a user interface in order to receive input for accessing or using the network service. Additionally, the first device communicates input received in response to providing the user interface to the network service. The first device can receive a token from the network service in response to communicating the input. Additionally, the first device can communicate a set of data items to the second device. The set of data items includes the token and one or more identifiers that enable the second device to access and use the network service while appearing as the first device to the network service. | 05-29-2014 |

20110096634 | Acoustic Generator for Distance Sounding with a Mechanism for Automatically Setting the Armed Pressure in the Pressure Chamber - In the oil industry, the acoustic sounding method is a well-known technique for taking the depth measurements of particular attributes of an oil well or borehole. The method involves sending a short, sharp, clear, loud bang sound down a borehole, normally between the inside wall of the borehole casing, commonly referred to as the annulus and the outside of the production tubing string, and recording the echoes generated. One device for generating the sound needed in the acoustic sounding method is an air or gas pressurized chamber which is discharged at or near the wellhead of the borehole. The sound being generated by this device, commonly known as an acoustic generator, comes from the energy released by the equilibration of the different gas pressures. The current invention is an acoustic generator and its control unit that uses several new and novel features to improve the quality of the sound generated and echoes detected in the acoustic sounding method including a unique and novel mechanism for automatically setting the pressure chamber for firing. | 04-28-2011 |
