20150247781 | Method for diagnosing railroad components of a railroad network for rail transport - A method and a system for diagnosing the operating state of one or more railroad components of a railroad network for rail transport. The railroad components each have at least a first measuring device for measuring first measurement values of at least one measurement variable for describing the operating state of the railroad component. The novel method includes the following steps: measuring the first measurement values by way of the first measuring device; measuring additional, second measurement values, which are independent of the operating state of the railroad components, by way of at least one additional, second measuring device; transmitting the measurement values to a control center situated along the tracks; evaluating the measurement values in the control center by way of a predefined algorithm, and providing at least one result of the evaluation as an output. | 09-03-2015 |
20150251677 | DIAGNOSTIC METHOD FOR RAIL VEHICLES - A method and a system for diagnosing one or more rail vehicles, each of which has at least one measuring device for measuring measurement values of at least one measurement variable. The method includes the following steps: measuring measurement values by way of at least one measuring device of at least one rail vehicle; transmitting the measurement values from the rail vehicle to a control center situated along the track; evaluating the measurement values in the control center by means of a predefined algorithm, and providing a result of the evaluation as an output. | 09-10-2015 |

20150292941 | MODAL DECOMPOSITION OF A LASER BEAM - A method and apparatus for performing a modal decomposition of a laser beam are disclosed. The method includes the steps of performing a measurement to determine the second moment beam size (w) and beam propagation factor (M2) of the laser beam, and inferring the scale factor (wO) of the optimal basis set of the laser beam from the second moment beam size and the beam propagation factor, from the relationship: wO=w/M2. An optimal decomposition is performing using the scale factor wO to obtain an optimal mode set of adapted size. The apparatus includes a spatial light modulator arranged for complex amplitude modulation of an incident laser beam, and imaging means arranged to direct the incident laser beam onto the spatial light modulator. Fourier transforming lens is arranged to receive a laser beam reflected from the spatial light modulator. A detector is placed a distance of one focal length away from the Fourier transforming lens for monitoring a diffraction pattern of the laser beam reflected from the spatial light modulator and passing through the Fourier transforming lens. The apparatus performs an optical Fourier transform on the laser beam reflected from the spatial light modulator and determines the phases of unknown modes of the laser beam, to perform a modal decomposition of the laser beam. | 10-15-2015 |

20160058232 | COOKING APPLIANCE - A cooking appliance includes a housing unit, a cooking chamber, a steam generation unit for supplying the cooking chamber with steam, a removable container unit associated with the steam generation unit. The removable container unit includes a container portion and a holding portion. The container portion and the holding portion together have a longitudinal extent that is a multiple of a width of the container portion. The container portion has a height that is a multiple of the width of the container portion. The container portion provides a capacity for water to be evaporated that is at least 1 litre. | 03-03-2016 |
20160066366 | COOKING DEVICE - A cooking system includes a cooking appliance with a microwave heat source and a cooking container for receiving food. The cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber having a muffle and a support device arranged on the muffle that positions the cooking container in the cooking chamber. The cooking container has a base and four side walls arranged transversely to the base as two opposing longitudinal sides and two opposing broadsides. The cooking container, at transitions from the two opposing broadsides to the two opposing longitudinal sides, has four corners, each of which has a rounded region having an external radius of at least 30 mm to maintain a minimum spacing from the muffle to counteract electrical flashovers between the cooking container and the cooking chamber. | 03-03-2016 |
20160066368 | COOKING DEVICE - A cooking appliance includes a housing unit, a cooking chamber, a steam generation unit for supplying the cooking chamber with steam, and a removable container unit associated with the steam generation unit. The removable container unit includes a container portion, a holding portion, and an aperture disposed, at least partially, between the container portion and the holding portion. The holding portion has at least one handle. The container portion and the holding portion together have a longitudinal extent that is a multiple of a width of the holding portion. At least the holding portion has a height that is a multiple of a width of the handle. The width of the handle is between 30 mm and 50 mm. At least in portions, a depth of the handle comprises 60% to 75% of the width of the handle. | 03-03-2016 |
