20080290011 | WIRELESS LIQUID LEVEL SENSING ASSEMBLIES AND GRINDER PUMP ASSEMBLIES EMPLOYING THE SAME - A liquid level sensing assembly employs an inductive or magnetic coupling to wirelessly communicate a plurality of signals based on a changing level of wastewater in a tank to a first coil of a pump/alarm control circuit in the grinder pump. The assembly includes at least one liquid level sensor operable in response to the changing level of the wastewater, a second coil positionable adjacent to the first coil in the grinder pump, and a transponder for extracting electrical energy using the second coil in response to the first coil. The transponder is operably connected to the at least one liquid level sensor and operable to wirelessly transmit from the second coil to the first coil the plurality of signals based on the state of the at least one liquid level sensor due to the changing level of the wastewater in the tank. | 11-27-2008 |

20110109171 | WATTMETER CIRCUIT FOR OPERATING A GRINDER PUMP ASSEMBLY TO INHIBIT OPERATING UNDER RUN DRY OR BLOCKED CONDITIONS - A method for operating a grinder pump station and inhibiting the likelihood of operation of a grinder pump assembly under at least one of a run dry condition and a blocked condition includes providing a wattmeter circuit operably connected to the grinder pump assembly and measuring real power using the wattmeter circuit during operation of the grinder pump assembly to process sewage received in a tank and discharge the processed sewage from the tank. The grinder pump assembly is automatically turned off based on the real power (e.g., average value of the product of instantaneous values of voltage and current over time) measured by the wattmeter circuit due to the at least one of a run dry condition and a blocked condition. | 05-12-2011 |

20160131489 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHARING A TRAVEL ITINERARY WITH A PROTECTIVE DETAIL - A system for sharing a travel itinerary with a plurality of members of a protective detail tasked with protecting the security of an individual, includes one or more processors, one or more computer-readable tangible storage devices, and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors. The program instructions include first program instructions to receive and storing data representative of an itinerary comprising at least one destination an individual intends to travel to. The program instructions further include second program instructions to identify a landmark based on the received itinerary. The program instructions further include third program instructions to associate the identified landmark with the itinerary. The program instructions further include fourth program instructions to communicate data representative of the itinerary and the associated landmark to members of a security detail. | 05-12-2016 |

20160123755 | PREVENTIVE FUEL SAVING-AIMED MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER ASSISTANCE - A fuel saving-aimed motor vehicle driver assistance system configured to receive and process motor vehicle-related data and motor vehicle position-related data to identify recurrent routes of a motor vehicle and to provide a motor vehicle driver, via an automotive human-machine interface, with motor vehicle driving assistance recommendations for fuel saving along the routes. The motor vehicle driver assistance system is configured to identify recurrent routes of the motor vehicle by determining a succession of geographic points, referred to as Waypoints, along a route of the motor vehicle, at which values of a series of physical quantities are determined and recorded, which define the attributes of the Waypoints. The Waypoint attributes are then updated when the vehicle travels through them. For each current motor vehicle position, a search is made for the Waypoint spatially closest to the current motor vehicle position and having certain characteristics, such that if such a Waypoint is not found, then a new Waypoint is defined, or else, if such a Waypoint is found, then variable Waypoint attributes are updated. The so-defined Waypoints are then concatenated so as to form an ordered list of Waypoints belonging to the same recurrent route. The characteristic points of the routes, such as bends, roundabouts and traffic lights, are identified and optimal speed profiles and primary controls for the motor vehicle at the characteristic points are computed. Based on the computed optimal speed profiles and primary controls and by means of the automotive human-machine interface, the motor vehicle driver is then provided with motor vehicle driving recommendations for fuel saving along the routes. | 05-05-2016 |
