20150290789 | POWER TOOL - A hand-held power tool is disclosed. The tool has a tool receptacle for holding a chiseling tool. A pneumatic percussion mechanism of the hand-held power tool includes a striker, an exciter and a guide tube. The striker is designed to apply impacts in the impact direction to the tool. The exciter is motor-driven. The striker is coupled by an air spring to the reciprocating movement of the exciter. The striker abutting the guide tube is guided along a working axis. During a movement between an impact position and the exciter, the striker is guided with a constant guide length on the guide tube and if the impact position is exceeded in the impact direction, the guide length is reduced. The hand-held power tool is equipped with an inclined guide, which inclines the striker relative to the working axis when the impact position is exceeded. | 10-15-2015 |

20100108340 | Impact Rapping Device - An impact rapping device includes a stationary anvil integrated with a surface to be rapped, the anvil having a hammering axis perpendicular to the surface to rapped, a hammer arranged to move coaxially with the hammering axis, to hit an impact surface of the anvil, and a device for moving the hammer. The anvil and the hammer form a compact unit, which can be assembled in any position. The hammer is supported to lean on the anvil in such a way that the position of the hammer automatically follows changes of place or position of the anvil, and so that the hammer can move only parallel to the hammering axis. | 05-06-2010 |
20100276169 | IMPACT MECHANISM - An impact mechanism for use with a drive motor comprises a drive engaging member and a tool bit retaining member operatively inter-connected with the drive engaging member. The tool bit retaining member has a main body portion, and an anvil portion and a tool bit retaining portion each securely attached thereto for co-rotation therewith. A hammer is mounted on one of the drive engaging member for guided movement between an anvil contact position whereat force is transmitted from the hammer to the anvil portion so as to create a moment about the longitudinal axis, and a release position whereat the hammer is temporarily removed from the anvil portion. A spring biases the hammer to the anvil contact position. A selectively adjustable spring compression mechanism permits selective compression of the spring. In use, rotation of the drive engaging member about its longitudinal axis causes the hammer to move from its anvil contact position towards its release position, thereby storing potential energy in the spring. When the hammer reaches the release position, the hammer is forcefully propelled by the spring and the rotation of the drive engaging member to impact on the anvil portion, thus urging the tool bit retaining member to forcefully rotate about the longitudinal axis. | 11-04-2010 |
