20100243174 | Actuator unit comprising force amplification - The actuator unit includes a hollow body defining a sliding chamber within; a piston mounted sliding inside said sliding chamber such to provide an actuation force and operated by a fluid fed from the outside; a body having one transmission end for the transmission of said actuation force prolonged outside said sliding chamber and one hooking end hooked to said piston, amplification means being interposed between said body and said piston to amplify said actuation force so as to obtain an amplified actuation force. | 09-30-2010 |
20100294436 | BEAD BREAKER GROUP FOR A TIRE MOUNTING-DEMOUNTING MACHINE - The present disclosure relates to a bead breaker group for a tire mounting-demounting machine, which includes a support arm displaceable, in use, in two bead breaking directions along one bead breaking axis, and includes a pair of bead breaker tools supported on substantially opposite sides with respect to the support arm, thereby defining opposite work fronts directed away from the support arm, the work front of a first bead breaker tool of the pair of bead breaker tools being directed towards one bead breaking direction of the two bead breaking directions, whereas the work front of a second bead breaker tool of the pair of bead breaker tools is directed towards the other bead breaking direction of the two bead breaking directions. | 11-25-2010 |
20130276993 | WINCH POWERED TIRE BEAD BREAKER - A winch powered tire bead breaker has a static support arm for temporarily mounting the bead breaker to a vehicle mountable winch and bracing there against. The bead breaker further has a moveable arm that is pivotally connected to the static support arm which is moveable relative to the static support arm. A working end of the winch can be releasably secured to the moveable arm and the winch actuated for moving the moveable arm from an open position to its closed position. The sidewalls of a wheel mounted tire, positioned between the moveable and static support arms, are squeezed as the moveable arm is actuated into its closed position for breaking a tire bead. | 10-24-2013 |
20140053987 | Bead Seater Apparatus and Method for Using the Same - An apparatus for seating a bead of a tire adjacent a bead seat of a wheel is disclosed. | 02-27-2014 |
20150298515 | DEVICE FOR UNSEATING TIRE BEADS FROM RIMS - A device for unseating tire beads of a tire from a rim comprises facing mobile upper and fixed lower jaws adapted to receive the tire horizontally therebetween. The upper jaw is mounted to a pivotable parallelogram linkage which is displaced by a pneumatic cylinder, whereby the actuation of the cylinder displaces the linkage which drives the upper jaw downwardly onto the upper sidewall of the tire, adjacent the rim, with the lower sidewall of the tire being engaged by the lower jaw. The upper and lower jaws are substantially vertical and plane plates. An adjustable tire abutment is provided for positioning the tire within the device such that the upper and lower jaws face respective sidewalls of the tire adjacent the rim. Another device is adapted to vertically receive the tire between the jaws thereof, so as to be unseated from the rim in a vertical position. | 10-22-2015 |
20160089940 | ASSISTANT ARM FOR AUTOMOBILE TIRE CHANGER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRINCIPAL PARTS OF THE ASSISTANT ARM - The present disclosure provides an assistant arm for an automobile tire changer and a method for manufacturing principal parts of the assistant arm. The assistant arm is of a one-for-two structure. A longitudinal actuator is connected to a sliding body, with an upper tire pressing mechanism hinged to the upper end and a lower tire pressing mechanism hinged to the lower end. A guide rail plate is arranged on a vertical column to form a combined guide rail. The guide rail plate is made of 45# bar-like steel plate, and has a straightness and a flatness of less than or equal to 0.05 mm/m. The vertical column includes a square steel tube as an anti-buckling beam, and several protrusions are welded onto upper and lower portions and a lateral surface of the vertical column to serve as a mounting reference surface with a flatness of less than or equal to 0.1 mm/m. An upper stopper, a lower stopper, a first lateral rib and a second lateral rib are welded to the sliding body within which a slider is arranged. The sliding body is connected to a piston rod of the longitudinal actuator by means of a thrust joint bearing. A lower end of the longitudinal actuator is hinged to a bottom of the vertical column through a lug shaft. Upper and lower laterally-swinging guide sleeve are each provided with a claw wrench. A console consists of a handle, a front plate welding assembly, a rear cover plate welding assembly, a tapered gasket and a sunk screw. The combined guide rail, the sliding body and the console, after being subjected to rough and fine machining, are combined together so as to form the assistant arm. | 03-31-2016 |
