This invention is a mainly a robe for yoga practitioners to use to 1)
meditate in 2) use to comfort themselves and provide warmth during the
final part of a yoga practice-- av sana. This garment is called a robe,
but, it can resemble a robe, blanket or sleeping bag. It can be made to
expose the feet for walking around in like a robe. It can be made to
cover the feet, especially when in a prone or supine position like a
blanket. It fully covers the body in 360 degrees like a sleeping bag. A
person steps into the garment through a vertical mid-body zipper opening.
To expose or cover the feet a drawstring is attached about a foot from
the floor. There are seven circular images on the front of the
robe--strategically placed in the positions that represent the 7 chakra
centers and their colors. On the back of the robe, there is a spiral from
the crown of the robe to the base of the spine. On the back, placed
behind its color compliment on the front of the robe, there is a
description of each chakra image, the mantra it occupies and the parts of
the body it affects, written in the accommodating colors.Claims:

NAME
[0002] Yoga Meditation/ av sana Robe. It is also called a `Yoga Robe`for abbreviated purposes.
[0003] I. Description
[0004] The item is an all natural only fabric garment that is a combination of a blanket and a robe and/or sleeping bag. It covers the body from head to toe like a blanket. It is a full body covering garment that opens at the feet if desired, like a robe. It can be designed to close the feet in like a sleeping bag. It has sleeves that extend to the wrist on the front of the arm and extends to mid back of the palm on the back hands. It also has a hood that is designed to hover the eyes resting on the penal gland. There are two horizontal lines from one side to the other on the front of the robe. One line is at the chest underneath the breastplate. The other line is at the groin and is the demarcation for where the zipper begins. To put the garment on, the person `steps into` it through a zipper opening that begins at the groin. There are images on the front and back of the robe. The front of the robe has seven images. The images are the same 7 images that are universally used to denote the 7 chakras or the 7 main energy centers. The images are strategically placed on the robe in the corresponding positions on the body. Like, the universal denotations, the images are color specific to match the energy centers as well. In addition, the name of the element that is associated with each chakra can be written across the horizontal middle of the image. On the back of the robe, in each of the corresponding color spots on the front of the robe are three things. So, each color has its own three things that lined on top of each other and centrally placed. The three things are: 1) an `I` phrase associated with the meaning of the chakra it is connected to, 2) a brief description of the chakra's emotional connection to the human body and 3) a brief description of the chakra's physical connection to the human body. Lastly, the images are interlaced with a spiral which represents the dual flow of spirit energy from the center (heart) to the crown (head) and from the head (crown) to the heart.

[0036] IV. Materials
[0037] The garment is only made of natural fabrics like (but not limited to) bamboo, hemp, cotton, soy silk, and jute.
[0038] V. Denoting One Robe from Another
[0039] Because the `Yoga Robe` can be made from different materials comprising of one or more natural fabrics, the robes have sub-name identifiers. The sub-name identifier has two parts. The first part of the sub-name identifier is the same word for all robes--its av calis. The second part of the sub-name identifier is a number. The number corresponds with fabric differentiation only. So, each different material type(s) will have a different sub-name identifier number. For example, the `Yoga Robe` made of hemp can be called av calis 1. The `Yoga Robe` made out of jute can be called av calis 2. The `Yoga Robe` made out of bamboo can be called av calis 3. This also applies if the fabrics are mixed, so, a `Yoga Robe` made of hemp and bamboo can be called av calis 4.
FIG. 1/2 Application Ser. No. 13/624,930
[0040] FIG. 1:
[0041] There are seven total images on the front/top of the robe. There are six circular images total on the front of the robe. There is one image on top the hood of the robe. Five of the circular images are vertically lined up the midline of the body. The five circles are equally placed from the groin to the neck. The sixth circle is on the central forehead area where the penal gland is. The seventh circle is on the mid-central area of the head--the crown area. Each circle is outlined differently to represent the 7 main chakra or energy centers of the body.
[0042] From the bottom to the top, the color sequence is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. In each circle is a word that is centrally placed, horizontally. The red circle has the word Earth. The orange circle has the word Water. The yellow circle has the word Fire. The green circle has the word Air. The blue circle has the word Sound. The indigo circle has the word Light. The violet circle has the word Thought.
Verbal Description of Labeled FIG. 1
[0043] 1) Red Image=Beneath the Pubic Bone=Earth Element
[0044] The red image is all in red. It is a circle with a square placed equidistantly inside with each of the four vertices of the square touching the diagonal point on the circle. Inside the square is a triangle that is centered. The circle is outlined with four curves of the same size, reminiscent of a stretched out four leaf clover.
[0045] 2) Orange Image=Lower Abdomen/Sexual Organs=Water Element
[0046] The orange image is all in orange. It is a circle with a smaller circle inside. The smaller circle is placed on top of the larger circle, thus, exposing a 315 degree crescent in the space between the larger and smaller circles. The larger circle is outlined with six shapes of the same size, reminiscent of the top of an acorn.
[0047] 3) Yellow Image=Solar Plexus=Fire Element
[0048] The yellow image is all in yellow. It is a circle with an equilateral triangle in its center. The vertices of the triangle each touch a point on the circle. The circle is outlined with ten shapes of the same size, reminiscent of bottle nipples.
[0049] 4) Green Image=Heart=Air Element
[0050] The green image is all in green. It is a circle with two equilateral triangles equally placed at its center. The triangles are inverted making it whereas a vertex on one triangle is pointing directly North and a vertex on the 2nd triangle is pointing directly South. Also, the other two vertices on each triangle are equally placed where they're touching a point on the circle. The circle is outlined with twelve same-sized arcs with a point at each of their centers.
[0051] 5) Blue Image=Throat=Sound Element
[0052] The blue image is all blue. It is a circle with an equilateral triangle inside it, at its center. The triangle has each of its vertices touching a point on the circle. Centrally placed inside the triangle is another circle. This second circle is sized insofar as each line of the triangle has a point from the circle touching it. Outlining the first circle are sixteen inverted v's which are all the same size.
[0053] 6) Indigo Image=Penal Gland (Third Eye)=Light Element
[0054] The indigo image is all indigo. It is a circle with an equilateral triangle placed centrally inside it. The triangle has each of its three vertices touching a point on the circle. The circle is outlined only at its sides, with the same shapes on both sides. The shapes look like a set of curved parenthesis, one bigger and one smaller. The parenthetical shapes are from the top of the circle to the bottom.
[0055] 7) Violet Image=Crown of Head=Thought Element
[0056] The violet image is all violet. It is a series of three circles, a large circle, a medium circle and a small circle. The large circle is slightly more than 2 sizes larger than the medium circle, which is 2× the size of the smallest circle. In the space between the medium and large circles are upside down v's sitting side by side like rocky grooves. The rocky groove-type images touch each other, but, don't overlap and they are extend all the way out to the inner edge of the large circle.
FIG. 2/2 Application Ser. No 13/624,930
[0057] FIG. 2:
[0058] There are 7 phrase series on the back of the robe. Each phrase series is in a different color. The colors are the same as the colors on the front of the robe. The colors are also in the same spot as the colors on the front, so the series of the red phrase series on the back lines up with the red circle on the front. The orange phrase series on the back lines up with the orange circle on the front. The same is true for the yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet phrase series on the back lining up with the yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet circles on the front. This means there are five phrase series down the front vertical midline of the body, one phrase series behind the 6th circle on the forehead and one phrase series below the crown portion of the head near the upper medulla. Each phrase series, beside written in the color it is connected to on the front is stacked one on top the other for a total of 3 or 4 phrases/series.
[0059] The phrase series are made up of three things: 1) An `I` Phrase. Each `I` phrase correlates with what that particular chakra color (energy center) stands for, 2) A phrase that denotes the socio-emotional aspect of the spirit that that particular chakra color (energy center) represents, 3) A phrase that designates where on the body that chakra color (energy center) thrives from.
[0060] The spiral swirls throughout the phrases. One opening is at the crown of the head. The other opening is at center of the body, near the heart. The opening at the top of the head has the swirls of the spiral getting smaller as the spiral progresses. The opening at the center, near the heart has the swirls of the spiral getting bigger as the spiral progresses. The approximate location for the spiral opening on the crown is under the word `Thought` in 7th phrase series. The approximate location for the spiral opening near the heart is under the word `Love` in the 4th phrase series. In either (both) directions, the width of the spirals extend out laterally, reaching the sleeves.
