curtain including a plurality of rings connected to an inside thereof and
a plurality ropes extending through the rings, the cover sheet including
a plurality of connection areas defined transversely in an inside thereof
and each connection area including a plurality of loops, each loop
including a passage defined axially therethrough, the connection member
comprising:a horizontal portion and a vertical portion which is connected
to the horizontal portion, each of the horizontal portion and the
vertical portion including a hook portion, the hook portion of the
horizontal portion adapted to be hooked to one of the ropes and the hook
portion of the vertical portion adapted to be hooked to one of the
passages.
2. The connection member as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hook portion of the horizontal portion is formed on a horizontal plane where the horizontal portion is located, the hook portion of the vertical portion is formed on a vertical plane where the vertical portion is located.
3. The connection member as claimed in claim 2, wherein the hook portion of vertical portion includes first and second parallel straight parts between which a U-shaped connection portion is connected between two lower ends of the two first and second straight parts, the first straight part is integrally connected to the horizontal portion and the second straight part includes an inverted U-shaped portion connected to a top end thereof, the first straight part and the inverted U-shaped portion are adapted to be located in the passage.
Description:
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001]The present invention relates to a connection member for connecting the curtain and the cover sheet, the connection member allows the curtain and cover sheet to be folded regularly.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002]A conventional curtain assembly includes gaps between two or three sheets of curtains and beams enter the interior of a room from the gaps. A cover sheet is used to attach to the curtain to cover the gaps. FIGS. 5 and 6 show a conventional curtain assembly 4 with a cover sheet 5, wherein rings 41 are connected to an inside of the curtain 4 and ropes 42 connected to the curtain assembly 4 extend through the rings 41. The cover sheet 5 includes a first portion 51 and a second portion 52 which includes a plurality of passages 53 defined therethrough. A plurality of connection members 6 are connected between the passages 53 in the second portion 51 and the ropes 42. When the user pulls the curtain 4 upward, the cover sheet 5 is pulled upward by the connection members 6. Nevertheless, the connection members 6 are substantially oval rings so that they spin and/or swing during moving the cover sheet 5 upward and a huge bump as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 is formed.
[0003]The present invention intends to provide a connection member which is an L-shaped member with a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, each portion includes a hook portion so as to be connected with the rope on the curtain and the passage in the cover sheet. The L-shaped connection members guide the cover sheet to be folded regularly and no irregular bump formed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004]The present invention relates to a connection member for connecting a curtain and a cover sheet, wherein the curtain includes a plurality of rings connected to an inside thereof and a plurality ropes extend through the rings, the cover sheet includes a plurality of connection areas defined transversely in an inside thereof and each connection area includes a plurality of loops. Each loop includes a passage defined axially therethrough. The connection member includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion which is connected to the horizontal portion. Each of the horizontal portion and the vertical portion includes a hook portion. The hook portion of the horizontal portion is hooked to one of the ropes and the hook portion of the vertical portion is hooked to one of the passages.
[0005]The primary object of the present invention is to provide a connection member for connecting curtain and cover sheet, the connection member prevents the cover sheet from being irregularly folded when folding the curtain and the cover sheet.
[0006]The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0007]FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the connection member of the present invention;
[0008]FIG. 2 shows the curtain, the cover sheet and the connection member connected to the cover sheet;
[0009]FIG. 3 is a partial cross sectional view to show the connection member connected between the rope on the curtain and the loop on the cover sheet;
[0010]FIG. 4 shows that the curtain and the cover sheet are folded with the connection members connected therebetween;
[0011]FIG. 5 shows the curtain, the cover sheet and the conventional connection member connected to the cover sheet;
[0012]FIG. 6 is a perspective view to show that the conventional connection member is connected to the second portion of the cover sheet;
[0013]FIG. 7 shows that the curtain and the cover sheet are folded with the conventional connection members connected therebetween, and
[0014]FIG. 8 shows a top view of the irregular bump formed on the folded curtain and cover sheet with the conventional connection members used between the curtain and cover sheet.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0015]Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the connection member 3 for connecting a curtain 1 and a cover sheet 2 is an L-shaped member and comprises a horizontal portion 31 and a vertical portion 32 which is connected to the horizontal portion 31. Each of the horizontal portion 31 and the vertical portion 32 includes a hook portion. The hook portion of the horizontal portion 31 is formed on a horizontal plane where the horizontal portion 31 is located, the hook portion of the vertical portion 32 is formed on a vertical plane where the vertical portion 32 is located. The hook portion of vertical portion 32 includes first and second parallel straight parts between which a U-shaped connection portion is connected between two lower ends of the two first and second straight parts, the first straight part is integrally connected to the horizontal portion and the second straight part includes an inverted U-shaped portion connected to a top end thereof.
[0016]The curtain 1 includes a plurality of rings 11 connected to an inside thereof and a plurality ropes 12 extend through the rings 11. The cover sheet 2 includes a plurality of connection areas 21 defined transversely in an inside thereof and each connection area 21 includes a plurality of loops 23. Each loop 23 includes a passage 24 defined axially therethrough.
[0017]The hook portions of the horizontal portions 31 of the connection members 3 are hooked to one of the ropes 12 and the hook portions of the vertical portions 32 are hooked to one of the passages 24. The first straight part and the inverted U-shaped portion are both located in the passage 24.
[0018]As shown in FIG. 4, when folding the curtain 1 and the cover sheet 2, the ropes 12 pull the hook portions of the horizontal portions 31 of the connection members 3 and the hook portions of the vertical portions 32 pull the loops 23 upward. The L-shaped connection members 3 do not spin and the vertical portions 32 guide the loops 23 so that the cover sheet 2 are folded regularly and no irregular bumps formed.
[0019]While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
