Abstract:
A souvenir air bottle assembly for storing air from a geographic location
as a souvenir includes a bottle that is comprised of a fluid impermeable
material to contain air. The bottle is comprised of a resiliently
deformable material thereby facilitating the bottle to be collapsed.
Moreover, the bottle is biased into an expanded position to draw air
inwardly therein when the bottle is collapsed and subsequently released.
A cap is removably attachable to the bottle to retain the air in the
bottle.Claims:
1. A souvenir air bottle assembly for containing air from a geographic
location as a souvenir, said assembly comprising: a bottle being
comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein said bottle is
configured to contain air, said bottle being comprised of a resiliently
deformable material thereby facilitating said bottle to be collapsed,
said bottle being biased into an expanded position wherein said bottle is
configured to draw air inwardly therein when said bottle is collapsed and
subsequently released; and a cap being removably attachable to said
bottle wherein said cap is configured to retain the air in said bottle.

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said bottle has a front wall, a back wall and a perimeter wall extending therebetween, said perimeter wall having a top side, said top side having a spout extending into an interior of said bottle wherein said spout is configured to pass air into said bottle, said spout having an outer wall and a distal edge with respect to said top side of said perimeter wall, said distal edge defining an opening into said spout, an outer surface of said outer wall being threaded.
3. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said front wall has indicia being printed thereon, said indicia comprising the words "air from".

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said cap has a top wall and an outer wall extending downwardly therefrom, said outer wall being continuously arcuate about a center point of said top wall such that said cap has a cylindrical shape, an inner surface of said outer wall being threaded, said inner surface threadably engaging said outer surface of said outer wall of said spout.
5. The assembly according to claim 4, wherein said top wall is compressed against said distal edge of said spout when said cap is tightened on said spout thereby inhibiting air from passing between said cap and said spout.
6. A souvenir air bottle assembly for containing air from a geographic location as a souvenir, said assembly comprising: a bottle being comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein said bottle is configured to contain air, said bottle being comprised of a resiliently deformable material thereby facilitating said bottle to be collapsed, said bottle being biased into an expanded position wherein said bottle is configured to draw air inwardly therein when said bottle is collapsed and subsequently released, said bottle having a front wall, a back wall and a perimeter wall extending therebetween, said perimeter wall having a top side, said top side having a spout extending into an interior of said bottle wherein said spout is configured to pass air into said bottle, said spout having an outer wall and a distal edge with respect to said top side of said perimeter wall, said distal edge defining an opening into said spout, an outer surface of said outer wall being threaded, said front wall having indicia being printed thereon, said indicia comprising the words "air from"; and a cap being removably attachable to said bottle wherein said cap is configured to retain the air in said bottle, said cap having a top wall and an outer wall extending downwardly therefrom, said outer wall being continuously arcuate about a center point of said top wall such that said cap has a cylindrical shape, an inner surface of said outer wall being threaded, said inner surface threadably engaging said outer surface of said outer wall of said spout, said top wall being compressed against said distal edge of said spout when said cap is tightened on said spout thereby inhibiting air from passing between said cap and said spout.
7. The assembly according to claim 6, wherein said bottle has an outer wall, said outer wall curving outwardly from a center point of said bottle such that said outer wall has an ovoid shape.
8. The assembly according to claim 7, wherein said outer wall has a grid being integrated therein wherein said bottle is configured to have the ornamental appearance of a hand grenade.
9. The assembly according to claim 8, further comprising a lever being coupled to and extending away from said outer wall wherein said lever is configured to enhance the ornamental appearance of the hand grenade.
10. The assembly according to claim 6, wherein said bottle has top end, a bottom end and an outer wall extending therebetween, said outer wall tapering inwardly between said bottom end and said top end, said outer wall having structural features being strategically positioned wherein said bottle is configured to have the ornamental appearance of the Eifel tower.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(1) Field of the Invention
[0006] The disclosure relates to souvenir devices and more particularly pertains to a new souvenir device for storing air from a geographic location as a souvenir.
(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98
[0007] The prior art relates to souvenir devices including a variety of air collection devices that each includes a bottle and a straw for collecting air exhaled from a person's lungs. The prior art discloses a novelty container for containing compressed air obtained at a geographic location. The prior art discloses an ornamental display that includes an air tight container for containing air taken from a particular event and memorabilia that are displayed with the container.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a bottle that is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to contain air. The bottle is comprised of a resiliently deformable material thereby facilitating the bottle to be collapsed. Moreover, the bottle is biased into an expanded position to draw air inwardly therein when the bottle is collapsed and subsequently released. A cap is removably attachable to the bottle to retain the air in the bottle.
[0009] There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0019] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 7 thereof, a new souvenir device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
[0020] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 7, the souvenir air bottle assembly 10 generally comprises a bottle 12 that comprised of a fluid impermeable material such that the bottle 12 can contain air. Additionally, the bottle 12 is comprised of a resiliently deformable material thereby facilitating the bottle 12 to be collapsed. The bottle 12 is biased into an expanded position such that the bottle 12 draws air inwardly therein when the bottle 12 is collapsed and subsequently released. The bottle 12 may be comprised of rubber or other suitable material that lends the aforementioned properties to the bottle 12.
[0021] The bottle 12 has a front wall 14, a back wall 16 and a perimeter wall 18 extending therebetween, and the perimeter wall 18 has a top side 20. The top side 20 has a spout 22 extending into an interior of the bottle 12 and the spout 22 passes air into the bottle 12. The spout 22 has an outer wall 24 and a distal edge 26 with respect to the top side 20 of the perimeter wall 18. The distal edge 26 defines an opening 28 into the spout 22 and an outer surface 30 of the outer wall 24 is threaded. The front wall 14 has indicia 32 printed thereon and the indicia 32 comprise the words "air from".
[0022] A cap 34 is removably attachable to the bottle 12 to retain the air in the bottle 12. The cap 34 has a top wall 36 and an outer wall 38 extending downwardly therefrom, and the outer wall 38 of the cap 34 is continuously arcuate about a center point of the top wall 36 such that the cap 34 has a cylindrical shape. An inner surface 39 of the outer wall 38 of the cap 34 is threaded and the inner surface 39 threadably engages the outer surface 30 of the outer wall 24 of the spout 22. The top wall 36 is compressed against the distal edge 26 of the spout 22 when the cap 34 is tightened on the spout 22 thereby inhibiting air from passing between the cap 34 and the spout 22.
[0023] In an alternative embodiment 40 as is most clearly shown in FIG. 5, the bottle 12 has an outer wall 42. The outer wall 42 curves outwardly from a center point of the bottle 12 such that the outer wall 42 has an ovoid shape. A grid 44 is integrated into the outer wall 42 such that the bottle 12 has the ornamental appearance of a hand grenade. A lever 46 is coupled to and extends away from the outer wall 42 to enhance the ornamental appearance of the hand grenade.
[0024] In an alternative embodiment 48 as is most clearly shown in FIG. 6, the bottle 12 has top end 50, a bottom end 54 and an outer wall 56 extending therebetween. The outer wall 56 tapers inwardly between the bottom end 54 and the top end 50. Additionally, the outer wall 56 has structural features 58 that are strategically positioned such that the bottle 12 has the ornamental appearance of the Eifel tower.
[0025] In use, the cap 34 is removed from the bottle 12 and the bottle 12 is compressed to purge air from the bottle 12. The bottle 12 is subsequently released thereby facilitating air to be drawn into the bottle 12. Additionally, as is shown in FIG. 4, the bottle 12 can be stretched outwardly for greater expansion of the bottle 12. The cap 34 is attached to the bottle 12 thereby retaining the air in the bottle 12. In this way air from a geographic can be captured in the bottle 12 for souvenir purposes. Additionally, the name of the geographic location can be written on the front wall 14 of the bottle 12 beneath the indicia 32. In this way the bottle 12 can be displayed as a souvenir to memorialize the geographic location.
[0026] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
