FIELD OF INVENTION
[0002] This invention relates to cosmetic products and cases thereof, particularly to paired lip gloss/eyeshadow, two-in-one products.
BACKGROUND
[0003] All publications herein are incorporated by reference to the same extent as if each individual publication or patent application was specifically and individually indicated to be incorporated by reference. The following description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0004] When it comes to makeup and finding complementary colors, consumers are often at a loss or even frustrated with tens and hundreds of selections at stores. Many consumers can benefit from pre-selected pairs of colors for lips and eye lids in makeup. A makeup product with paired eyeshadow and lip coloring gives convenience and simplicity in makeup applications for prospective purchasers.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The following embodiments and aspects thereof are described and illustrated in conjunction with compositions and methods which are meant to be exemplary and illustrative, not limiting in scope.
[0006] Cosmetic containers and integrated lip gloss/eyeshadow tubes are provided. In various embodiments, a cosmetic container has a body of a tube (defining a hollow inner body), one receptacle defined by a lid and a base on an outer surface of the tube, and a first applicator that is insertable to the inner body of the tube. In further embodiments, a cosmetic container also includes a second applicator which is insertable or connected to the first applicator.
[0007] In various embodiments, the cosmetic container has a mirror on an outer surface of the tube, or in the receptacle, or in the interior surface of the lid. In further embodiments, the lid is made of a clear material, so content in the receptacle can be viewed through the lid.
[0008] In various embodiments, the first applicator and/or the second applicator contain at least a handle and a tip, which are connected via a stick or that the tip is extended from the handle. In several implementations, the tip or the tip-stick of a first applicator is insertable to, housed in, or releasably retained in, the hollow inner body of the tube, and the tip or the tip-stick of a second applicator is insertable to, housed in, or releasably retained in, the handle of the first applicator. The mechanism for insertion or releasable retention can be by a screw connection, a magnetic connection, a snap fit connection, or another connection.
[0009] Various embodiments provide an integrated lip gloss and eyeshadow tube, which has a case defining a hollow inner body, one receptacle on an outer surface of the case, a first applicator, and a second application, as well as a lip product and an eyelid product.
[0010] In some embodiments, an integrated lip gloss and eyeshadow tube comprises a cosmetic container disclosed herein, and a lip product that can be housed in the receptacle of the cosmetic container, in the first applicator, or in the hollow inner body of the case where the first applicator is inserted and comes in contact with a lip product, as well as an eyelid product that can be housed in the receptacle of the cosmetic container.
[0011] Various lip product and eyelid product compositions and their colors are provided, so a user of the integrated lip gloss and eyeshadow tube can apply make-up to both eyelids and lips from the use of one tube.
[0012] Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, which illustrate, by way of example, various features of embodiments of the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0027] All references cited herein are incorporated by reference in their entirety as though fully set forth. Unless defined otherwise, technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs.
[0028] Generally, a tint is a mixture of a color with white, which reduces darkness; and a shade is a mixture with black, which increases darkness. Both processes affect the resulting color mixture's relative lightness. A tone is produced either by mixing a color with grey, or by both tinting and shading. Mixing a color with any neutral color (including black, gray, and white) reduces the chroma or colorfulness, while the hue (the relative mixture of red, yellow, green, etc. depending on the colors pace) remains unchanged.
[0029] In various implementations, an applicator for a cosmetic container described herein, or an integrated lip gloss and eyeshadow tube described herein, refers to an article with a handle, a stick extending from the handle, and a tip at an end of the stick opposite the handle. In some implementations, the stick has a lip product reservoir, and the reservoir is configured so as to allow for discharging the lip product contained therein through an orifice in the tip. In other implementations, the stick of an applicator is not a reservoir, and the tip of the applicator is made of a material to absorb (or adsorb) liquid, powder, pasty, or semi soft lip product or eyeshadow product and transfer the lip product or eyeshadow product.
[0030] One skilled in the art will recognize many methods and materials similar or equivalent to those described herein, which could be used in the practice of the present invention. Indeed, the present invention is in no way limited to the methods and materials described. For purposes of the present invention, the following terms are defined below.
