Abstract:
A constructive arrangement for a hair clip providing use enhancements,
assuring styling support and extremely simplified manufacturing. This
constructive arrangement presents a hair clip constituted by two side
portions, which are and remain joined by half a magnet, each one of the
side portions having 3 "small claws" as a "mini comb", totaling 6 small
claws when assembled. The small claws are fitted by interspersing under
the hair, only exposing its flat surface and keeping the styling
sustained. This constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip excludes
the need to use more than one clip to assure the styling to be fixed and
only a minimum part of the volume of the accessory is exposed outside the
hair. Even so, the exposed part is close to the hair and less apparent,
besides being more easily hidden on purpose, if required.Claims:
1. Constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip, having a left and a
right portion, so to be fitted together, comprising: a) a right portion
including a flat body (10), to which a magnet is attached, b) from the
edge of said flat body (10), at least three curved claws (11, 12, 13) are
projected to form a U-shaped profile; c) the left portion providing a
flat body (20) to which a magnet is attached and, d) from the edge of
said flat body (20), at least three curved claws (21, 22, 23) are
projected in opposition to the claws (11, 12, 13) of the right portion,
so to form a U-shaped profile (20).
2. Constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip of claim 1, characterized by the claws of each portion projecting themselves from said bodies (10, 20), being interspersed.
Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present patent document refers to a constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip providing use enhancements, assuring styling support and extremely simplified manufacturing.
[0002] Currently, there are various solutions in hair clips and accessories, but they have various limitations, such as e. g. not offering good support or also having a large portion of their bodies exposed outside the hair, which is frequently undesirable. The manufacturing of said clips is either complicated or their use is extremely difficult, since the hair is extremely pliable and easily dispersed.
[0003] A few solutions shown in patent documents, such as the patent application CA 2570721, disclose a ribbon-shaped device for fixing hair, which edges are magnetically joined.
[0004] Also, the patent document U.S. Pat. No. 7,950,401 discloses a constructive arrangement with various assembled parts, resulting in a device which is opened when two edges above the hair are pushed, and has a spring to assure styling support.
[0005] The main problem found in said constructive arrangements as known is their complex construction and manufacturing, since they include various small parts which are separately produced for later assembly. Furthermore, these small parts get easily loose or break during the use, resulting in a product with a very low working life. It is also very common that said clips remain almost fully exposed, not allowing their use in more sophisticated hair styling.
[0006] Furthermore, other simpler clips, aiming to contour hair in a circumference and apply pressure to keep styling, are not recommended for performing various styles and many of them do not provide the required support, even for its specific application.
[0007] Typical hair clips and accessories do not firmly support the styling or lock, requiring the use of more than one clip, making it even more difficult for them not to be apparent over the hair.
[0008] Therefore, considering the existing problems in the state of the art, the constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip as disclosed by this document has been developed. Said constructive arrangement presents a hair clip constituted by two side portions, which are and remain joined by half a magnet, each side portion having three "small claws" as in a "mini comb", summing six small claws when assembled. The small claws are fitted by interspersing under the hair, causing just their flat surface to be exposed and keeping hair style supported. This constructive arrangement as applied to a hair clip excludes the need to use more than one clip to assure fixing the hair style, and just a minimum part of the volume of the fixed accessory is exposed outside the hair. Even so, the exposed part is close to the hair and less apparent, besides being much easier to hide on purpose if required.
[0009] The manufacturing of this new constructive arrangement is very simplified, since each side portion is produced by polymer injection, so that the magnet is inserted into the body of the portions at the time of injection, thus avoiding subsequent assemblies and assuring the working life of the hair clip.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0014] Based on the figures, the constructive arrangement applied to a hair clip (1) as disclosed by this document comprises a right and a left portion, to be fitted to each other. The right portion includes a flat body (10) having a magnet and, from the edge of said flat body (10), at least three curved claws (11, 12, 13) are projected so to form a U-shaped profile; and a left portion includes a flat body (20) having a magnet and, from the edge of said flat body (20), at least three curved claws (21, 22, 23) are projected so to form a U-shaped profile (20). The left and right portions are mirrored and the claws of each one of the portions are interspersed.
[0015] The clip (1) is preferably operated from the separate right and left portions, by using the claws of both portions as a comb, getting them closer until the contact between the magnets included in the bodies (10 and 20) are joined and remained united, making hair locks remain fixed.
[0016] There may be small variations in shape, such as e. g. the size and number of claws, or even the use of ornamental props, but not escaping from the inventive idea as presented herein, consisting in the enhancement of the constructive arrangement of a hair clip.
