Abstract

A modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner is an apparatus in which the device can be inserted into any standard baseball cap undetected by others, to protect the hair and skin of the user when wearing. The invention can be manufactured by the method of sewing. A crown is formed from a non-woven fabric. A structural felt fabric is attached to the underside of the front formed crown and is sandwiched between the non-woven fabric in the underside of the crown, and the skin and hair protecting satin fabric. The felt fabric lines the lower inner portion of the invention to the rear of the apparatus for structural support on both sides of the invention. A parallel, sewn in grid on the lower left and right side of the invention allows the user to modify the device by cutting the selected grid lines to accommodate various type of baseball caps. The invention demonstrates the ability to have ventilations holes sewn into the upper crown nonwoven fabric to allow air flow between the baseball cap and the users head. The rear portion of the baseball cap insert is formed to accommodate a fitted baseball cap as well as an open back baseball cap.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The present invention relates to devices for protecting the hair and skin of the user, while the device exhibit the ability to be modifiable as well as transferrable from one hat to another. The invention display the ability to be modified to accommodate various types of manufactured baseball caps, as well as provide a means of ventilation by embroidered holes for comfort and open rear formed to allow the wearer to hide the device from others views.

The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protective baseball cap liner has the ability to be worn by the user, when awake, demonstrating an ability to be modified to accommodate baseball hats that have the upper crown panel sewn to the side inner sweat band portion of the hat during the manufacturing process.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide an modifiable, transferrable wearable apparatus for protecting hair and skin. The maintenance of hair is an important aspect in people's lives today. The hair of certain ethnic groups such as African-Americans, require various types of methods and techniques for daily hair up-keep. Tightly coarse hair, and curled hair can get entangled, and break off while wearing hats. Most baseball hats are made from cotton, which absorb moisture. Wearing of hats can also effect a person's hair by drying the hair of its essential oils, cause friction in which the hair begins to break off, and dry the skin, closest to the cotton fabric.

[0008] The invention allows for the user to be able to utilize their current hat by inserting the device inside the cap made of fabrics that will allow less friction of the hair, using non moisture absorbing fabrics, and reduce entanglements if the user is in an active state. The materials used are a natural fabric such as silk or a manufactured fabric, satin.

[0009] The Preferred embodiment of the present invention is lightweight, small and compact in nature with a crown formed from non-woven fabrics. A felt fabric frame is affixed to the underside of the crown to assist in the structure of the apparatus, running from the front portion of the crown along the lower portion of the device to the rear back crescent moon shaped opening.

The front view of the modifiable hat insert is illustrated. The hat insert is formed from non-woven fabrics into a crown shape. A structural fabric made of felt fabric is sewn in and sandwiched in between the outer non-woven fabric. The structural felt fabric runs along the front of the device and runs along the lower side portion of the apparatus, to the rear of the apparatus.

A Modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protecting baseball cap liner accessory comprising: One crown shaped device; means for moldable fabric; means for Hair and skin protecting fabric; means for ventilation; means for a structural support; means for modification purposes; means for open rear; means for closed rear; The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner accessory according to claim 1, wherein said means for a crown shaped apparatus comprise of a non woven lightweight fabric. The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner accessory according to claim 2, wherein said means for a lightweight hair and skin protecting fabric, sew to the underside of the formed crown. The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner accessory according to claim 3, wherein said means of ventilation for the wearer. The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner accessory according to claim 4, wherein said means for structural support. The modifiable transferrable insert-able hair and skin protection baseball cap liner accessory according to claim 5, wherein said means for modification purposes.
