BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The present invention relates to a personal hygiene and sanitary device. More specifically, the present invention relates to a personal hygiene and sanitary device that is mountable to a toilet bowl.
[0003] Toilet paper is a conventional mode for cleaning oneself after using the toilet. Toilet paper is comprised of thin, dry sheets of paper that readily disintegrate in water. This cleaning method is advantageous in drying small volumes of liquid. However, larger liquids and solids are more difficult to clean entirely and may require further steps, such as showering or using wipes as a secondary method of cleaning. If the user fails to get entirely clean after using the toilet, they face possible infections, such as urinary tract infections.
[0004] To combat this issue, people oftentimes resort to other methods for cleaning oneself after toilet use, such as wet wipes, sanitizing gels, and lotions. These cleaning tools provide alternative cleaning, drying, and sanitizing methods that ensure a more effective clean, especially when bathing is not an option. However, these cleaning supplies are often out of arm's reach and stored within cabinets or shelves that are not easily accessed while remaining seated on the toilet.
[0005] Therefore, there exists a need for a device adapted to store personal hygiene cleaning supplies within arm's length while seated on the toilet. The present invention provides a personal sanitary device that is mountable to a toilet bowl. The present invention further comprises a housing having a primary compartment sized to receive lotion, medication, or sanitizer components, such as wet wipes.
