Clothes dryer stop

Abstract

The purpose of the clothes dryer stop is to prevent the dryer vent duct from being crushed. This will allow the lint to be completely expelled.

Description

[0001] 1. Clothes dryer stop

[0002] a. Item is made of black high density polyethylene.

[0003] b. Specifications: Three fourths inches (3/4'') wide by (1/2'') solid HDPE by 7 inches long with three fourths (3/4'') by eleven sixteenths ( 11/16'') hinges attached to the end of the HDPE, as shown in drawings.

[0004] c. Attached to the back of the dryer

[0005] 1. From the floor, measure 2 and one half inches (21/2'') up to 2 or 3 inches from each side of the dryer.

[0006] 2. Drill with a five sixty fourths inch ( 5/64'') drill bit for each hole.

[0007] 3. Use 2# 4 by three eighths inch (3/8'') screws for each hinge, fasten each dryer stop on each side of the dryer.

1. A clothes dryer stop comprising of two stops made of HDPE attached to a dryer by hinges.
