Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This application claims benefit under 35 USC 119 to Canada National Application No. 3,021,596 filed on Oct. 22, 2018, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present invention relates generally to the field of smoking devices of existing art and more specifically relates to smoking device adaptor.

RELATED ART

[0003] Water puffing or smoking is one of the earliest practiced smoking habits with objects like a hookah, bong, or water pipe. A bong is a filtration device generally used for smoking cannabis, tobacco, or other herbal substances. In construction and function a bong is similar to a hookah, except smaller and especially more portable. A bong may be constructed from any air- and water-tight vessel by adding a bowl and stem apparatus which guides air downward to below water level whence it bubbles upward during use. To get fresh air into the bong and harvest the last remaining smoke, a hole, somewhere on the lower part of the bong above water level, is first kept covered during the smoking process, then opened to allow the smoke to be drawn (inhaled) into the respiratory system.

[0004] With increasing demand for efficient puffing solutions, the use of water puffing devices like hookahs has been increased. Availability of water puffing devices may be difficult as well as costly. Further, these devices are not discrete and may be difficult to carry from one place to another. A suitable solution is desired.

[0005] U.S. Pat. No. 9,788,574 to Mullen relates to a device for consecutive consumption of liquid from container and smoke. The described device for consecutive consumption of liquid from container and smoke includes a device for use with a container containing liquid and having an opening for the consecutive consumption of the liquid and of smoke that has been drawn into the container. The device comprises a body, a combustion receptacle, and a tubular structure. An inlet end of the body engages the container, and an outlet end can be placed at the mouth of a user. The tubular structure connects the combustion receptacle with the interior of the liquid container. When smoking material is combusted and the container is inverted, outflow of liquid from the container through the body, in most instances into a user's mouth, creates negative pressure within the container, drawing in smoke from the combustion receptacle. Once most or all of the liquid has flowed out of the container, the user may then inhale the smoke in the container through the body.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known smoking device art, the present disclosure provides a novel universal bong lid adaptor system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a universal adaptor device to convert containers, cups, jars, bottles, glasses, etc.; vessels having sufficient inner volume into a bong.

[0007] A universal bong lid adaptor system is disclosed herein.
