Abstract:
A ladder ball game system that includes: an outside frame; a first rung
within the outside frame; a second rung within the outside frame, wherein
the outside frame, the first rung and second rung include an illumination
means; a base; a solar power source connected to the base; and a
plurality of bolas, where the bolas include an illumination means. The
outside frame, first rung and second rung preferably include clear PVC
pipes and embedded LED lights for illumination. The balls may include
bioluminescent color and glowing strings as an illumination means.Claims:
1. A ladder ball game system comprising: a. an outside frame; b. a first
rung within the outside frame; c. a second rung within the outside frame,
wherein the outside frame, the first rung and second rung include an
illumination means; d. a base, wherein the base include legs; e. a solar
power source connected to the base, wherein solar power source includes a
solar panel and said solar panel is connected to one of the legs, wherein
solar panel supplies power to the illumination means; and f. a plurality
of bolas, where the bolas include an illumination means.
2. The ladder ball game system according to claim 1, where the outside frame, first rung and a second cross bar include clear PVC pipes.
3. The ladder ball game system according to claim 2, where the outside frame, a first cross bar and second cross bar include embedded LED lights within the first cross bar and second cross bar.
4. The ladder ball game system according to claim 2, where the bolas include bioluminescent color and glowing strings.
Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a ladder ball game system that includes features that enable night participation.
Description of Related Art
[0002] The ladder toss also call it ladder ball is a lawn game. It is played by throwing balls connected on a string that are referred to as bolas onto a ladder. The object is to toss the bolas toward a ladder configuration in order to secure the bolas across one of the rungs of a ladder. This game is played outdoors and may be played by individual or team play. PVC pipe is commonly used to construct the ladder configuration and points are assigned based upon the position of the bolas onto a particular rung.
[0003] One obvious limitation of this particular game is the importance of having proper daylight to toss the bolas onto the ladder system. It's the object of the present invention to provide a nighttime bolas system to enable the tossing of balls onto a ladder system during nighttime.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention relates to a ladder ball game system that includes: an outside frame; a first rung within the outside frame; a second rung within the outside frame, wherein the outside frame, the first rung and second rung include an illumination means; a base; a solar power source connected to the base; and a plurality of bolas, where the bolas include an illumination means. The outside frame, first rung and second rung preferably include clear PVC pipes and embedded LED lights for illumination. The balls may include bioluminescent color and glowing strings as an illumination means.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0005] FIG. 1 depicts a ladder ball system according to the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0006] The present invention relates to a ladder ball game system that includes LED lights within the frame of the ladder ball game and fluorescent bolas with the game. The LED lights receive power from a small solar panel connected to the frame.
[0007] In reference to FIG. 1, a ladder ball game system according to present invention is depicted. A frame 20 is shown providing an outside frame that connects to base legs 10a, 10b. This system further includes a small solar panel 30 connected to one of the base legs 10a and the system further includes a series of lights within the piping associated with the frame 20. The lighting also runs through the rungs 21, 23 shown in FIG. 1. This lighting creates visibility of the ladder game system in low light or dark. These LED lights are powered by a small solar panel 30 that is connected to the bottom leg supports 10a, 10b. As stated the bolas balls include illuminated glow in the dark features along with a string that attaches to the ball, string 25 attached to the ball 27.
[0008] During use this system is illuminated and players may play ladder ball with the system in a dark environment. The ladder game according to the present invention provides extended play capabilities and a lighting associated with the frame to create a new twist on a conventional game. The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The exemplary embodiment was chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the invention and its practical application, to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the invention and various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated.
