Abstract

A collapsible chair used to play a game of skill, including a first set of legs, a second set of legs foldably connected to the first set of legs, a seat back disposed at a top portion of the first set of legs, a seat disposed between the first set of legs and the second set of legs, a seat hole disposed at a front portion of the seat, and a cup insertable within the seat hole to receive at least one object therein.

BACKGROUND

1. Field

[0001] The present general inventive concept relates generally to a seated game, and particularly, to a seated game including chairs, cups, and ping pong balls.

2. Description of the Related Art

[0002] Many individuals enjoy games of skill such as beer pong, hacky sack, flip-cup, and quarters, but tire of the monotony of playing the same games repeatedly. Currently on the market, there are various versions of these types of games, but there is a need for a new variation of traditional games of skill. Furthermore, most of these games of skill are required to be played in a standing position.

[0003] Therefore, there is a need for a new game of skill that allows users to play while in a seated position.

SUMMARY

[0004] The present general inventive concept provides a seated game including chairs, cups, and ping pong balls.

[0005] Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.

[0006] The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a collapsible chair used to play a game of skill, including a first set of legs, a second set of legs foldably connected to the first set of legs, a seat back disposed at a top portion of the first set of legs, a seat disposed between the first set of legs and the second set of legs, a seat hole disposed at a front portion of the seat, and a cup insertable within the seat hole to receive at least one object therein.

[0007] The at least one object may be receivable within the cup when a user is sitting on the seat.

[0008] The collapsible chair used to play a game of skill may further include an object holder disposed at a side portion of the seat to hold the at least one object therein.

[0019] The first set of legs 110 may be connected to the second set of legs 120 via the plurality of connecting joints 130 disposed on opposing sides.

[0020] Top portions of the second set of legs 120 may be swivably connected to upper portions of the first set of legs 110, to allow the second set of legs 120 to be collapsible and/or foldable with respect to the first set of legs 110.

[0021] Top portions of the first set of legs 110 may be connected to each other via the back rest 140 disposed therebetween.

[0022] The seat 150 may be connected to the first set of legs 110 and the second set of legs 120 to provide a platform on which a user may sit. When the second set of legs 120 are folded with respect to the first set of legs 110, the seat 150 may fold upward or downward for easy and compact storage.

[0023] As such, when the collapsible chair used to play a game of skill 100 is unfolded (i.e., in an open position) a user may sit on the seat 150 and lean against the back rest 140.

[0024] The back rest 140 may include an aperture 141 to allow the collapsible chair used to play a game of skill 100 to be easily carried by a user when the collapsible chair used to play a game of skill 100 is in a folded position.

[0025] As such, the first set of legs 110, the second set of legs 120, the plurality of connecting joints 130, the back rest 140, and the seat 150 all act together like a foldable chair known to one of ordinary skill in the art.

[0026] The seat 150 may include a seat hole 151 disposed at a front portion of the seat 150, and may be used to allow the cup 180 to be inserted therein. As such, the seat hole 151 may be a cup holder to allow a user to play a game of skill with the at least one ping pong ball 190.

[0027] The ball holder 160 may be disposed at a side portion of the seat 150, and may be a basket to hold the at least one ping pong ball 190 therein. The ball holder 160 may also be characterized as an object holder to hold at least one object therein.

[0029] In order to play the game of skill, two players may unfold and place two collapsible chairs used to play a game of skill 100 to face each other, and then may each sit in the collapsible chairs used to play a game of skill 100. Then, the cups 180 may be inserted into the seat holes 151. Then, the players may take turns attempting to throw ping pong balls 190 into each other's respective cups 180 disposed within the seat holes 151.

[0030] Although the at least one ping pong ball 190 is preferably used as part of the present general inventive concept, other objects may also be used as a substitute for the at least one ping pong ball 190, including but not limited to, other types of balls, coins, rocks, etc.

Claims

1. A collapsible chair used to play a game of skill, comprising: a first set of legs; a second set of legs foldably connected to the first set of legs; a seat back disposed at a top portion of the first set of legs; a seat disposed between the first set of legs and the second set of legs; a seat hole disposed at a front portion of the seat; and a cup insertable within the seat hole to receive at least one object therein.

2. The collapsible chair used to play a game of skill of claim 1, wherein the at least one object is receivable within the cup when a user is sitting on the seat

3. The collapsible chair used to play a game of skill of claim 1, further comprising; an object holder disposed at a side portion of the seat to hold the at least one object therein.
