Abstract

A brassiere, including a first cup to support a first breast of a user, a first strap to extend from the first cup to wrap around a first shoulder of the user, a second cup to support a second breast of the user, and a second strap to extend from the second cup to wrap around a second shoulder of the user, wherein the brassiere is constructed from a moisture-absorbing wicking material.

BACKGROUND

1. Field

[0001] The present general inventive concept relates generally to a brassiere, and particularly, to a stylish brassiere made from moisture-wicking material that helps reduce sweat, especially under breasts of a wearer.

2. Description of the Related Art

[0002] Finding an undergarment that offers support for all cup sizes, especially heavier chested women, while providing style, comfort and sweat resistance is very limited in intimate wear. After a few washes, the longevity in pricy, brand name brassieres can be fickle because of the poor quality material they are made of, causing shoppers to spend more money for new ones. Furthermore, women of all breast-sizes may experience "under-boob" sweat, especially during hot months.

[0003] Therefore, there is a need for a stylish brassiere made from moisture-wicking material that reduces sweat, especially under breasts of a wearer.

[0004] The present general inventive concept provides a stylish brassiere made from moisture-wicking material that helps reduce sweat, especially under breasts of a wearer.

[0006] The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a brassiere, including a first cup to support a first breast of a user, a first strap to extend from the first cup to wrap around a first shoulder of the user, a second cup to support a second breast of the user, and a second strap to extend from the second cup to wrap around a second shoulder of the user, wherein the brassiere is constructed from a moisture-absorbing wicking material.

[0007] The first strap may include a first shoulder portion to extend from an outer side portion of the first cup, and a first back portion to extend from the first shoulder portion.

[0008] The second strap may include a second shoulder portion to extend from an outer side portion of the second cup, and a second back portion to extend from the second shoulder portion.

[0009] The brassiere may further include strap connectors to connect the first back portion to the second back portion.

[0010] The brassiere may further include a cup-connecting portion to connect an inner point of the first cup to another inner point of the second cup.

[0022] The brassiere 100, and components thereof, may be constructed from spandex, lycra-spandex, cloth, polyester, cotton, wool, rubber, leather, faux-leather, hooks, loops, wiring, VELCRO, adhesives, and any other material known to one of ordinary skill in the art.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 1, the brassiere 100 may include cups 110, straps 120, a cup-connecting portion 130, and strap connectors 114, but is not limited thereto. More specifically, referring to FIG. 1, the brassiere 100 may include a first cup 110a, a second cup 110b, a first strap 120a, and a second strap 120b.

[0026] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the cups 110 may be round, oval, or designed to envelop and/or conform to a user's breasts, in order to support the user's breasts when the brassiere 100 is worn by the user.

[0027] More specifically and preferably, the cups 110 may each have an almond-like shape. More specifically, referring to FIG. 1, the cups 110 may each have an oval shape with semi-pointed ends, specifically, the first cup 110a may have an inner end point 111a and an outer end point 112a, and the second cup 110b may have an inner end point 111b and an outer end point 112b. As such, the first cup 110a may contact the second cup 110b at the respective inner end points 111a and 111b thereof, and the cup-connecting portion 130 may reinforce the connection of the respective inner end points 111a and 111b of the first cup 110a and the second cup 110b.

[0028] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the straps 120 may be disposed to extend from outer end points 112a and 112b of the cups 110. More specifically, a first shoulder wrapping portion 121a of the first strap 120a may extend from the outer end point 112a of the first cup 110a, such that the first shoulder wrapping portion 121a may wrap around a user's right shoulder. [0030] The cup-connecting portion 130 may outline a portion of a bottom portion of the cups 110, and may also be disposed between the cups 110. As such, referring to FIG. 1, the cup-connecting portion 130 may have a triangular-like shape, with legs of the triangle being slightly concavedly curved.

[0031] The cup-connecting portion 130 may have a color that is different from the cups 110 and the straps 120. Also, the cups 110, the straps 120, and the cup-connecting portion 130 may have any color, including, but not limited to, white, black, silver, gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, pink, burgundy, etc.

[0032] Referring to FIG. 2, the strap connectors 140 may include hooks, loops, clasps, buttons, snaps, VELCRO, etc., but are not limited thereto. As such, the strap connectors may connect the first strap 120a to the second strap 120b. More specifically, the first back portion 122a may be connected to the second back portion 122b at end portions thereof, using the strap connectors 140.

[0034] As illustrated in FIG. 3, either the first cup 110a or the second cup 110b may include a logo 150 on an inside portion thereon. The logo 150 may be any word, phrase, or symbol desired by a user or manufacturer.

Claims

1. A brassiere, comprising: a first cup to support a first breast of a user; a first strap to extend from the first cup to wrap around a first shoulder of the user; a second cup to support a second breast of the user; and a second strap to extend from the second cup to wrap around a second shoulder of the user, wherein the brassiere is constructed from a moisture-absorbing wicking material.

2. The brassiere of claim 1, wherein the first strap comprises: a first shoulder portion to extend from an outer side portion of the first cup; and a first back portion to extend from the first shoulder portion.

3. The brassiere of claim 2, wherein the second strap comprises: a second shoulder portion to extend from an outer side portion of the second cup; and a second back portion to extend from the second shoulder portion.

4. The brassiere of claim 3, further comprising: strap connectors to connect the first back portion to the second back portion.

5. The brassiere of claim 1, further comprising: a cup-connecting portion to connect an inner point of the first cup to another inner point of the second cup.

6. The brassiere of claim 5, wherein the cup-connecting portion has a color different from the first cup and the second cup.
