Abstract:
A clip system for securing objects that includes: a strap; a means to
adjust the length of the strap; at least one clip attached to the strap.
The strap may be configured as a necklace with one clip and the means to
adjust the length of the strap includes an adjustable buckle.
Alternatively, the strap includes a clip on a first end and a clip on a
second end. In a third embodiment, the strap may be configured for
placement around a user's ankle with a single clip to attach objects
thereto.Claims:
1. A clip system for securing objects comprising: a. a strap; b. a means
to adjust the length of the strap; c. at least one clip attached to the
strap.
2. The clip system according to claim 1, where the strap is configured as a necklace.
3. The clip system according to claim 2, where one clip is attached to the strap and the means to adjust the length of the strap includes an adjustable buckle.
4. The clip system according to claim 1, where the strap includes a clip on a first end and a clip on a second end.
5. The clip system according to claim 1, where the strap is configured for placement around a user's ankle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a clip system to secure personal items while attending a theme park.
Description of Related Art
[0002] Thousands of individuals visit theme parks on an annual basis. Theme parks provide various types of amusement and in particular amusement rides for individuals to enjoy. Many times these rides involve fast moving rides such as roller coasters or some theme parks have water type rides where individuals water themed amusement rides. These amusement rides may spin individuals or lift them at certain speeds and include sudden changes of direction. As a result, it is very easy for an individual to lose items while on an amusement park ride. It would therefore be advantages to have a device to secure personal item while riding an amusement park ride.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0003] The present invention relates to a clip system for securing objects that includes: a strap; a means to adjust the length of the strap; at least one clip attached to the strap. The strap may be configured as a necklace with one clip and the means to adjust the length of the strap includes an adjustable buckle. Alternatively, the strap includes a clip on a first end and a clip on a second end. In a third embodiment, the strap may be configured for placement around a user's ankle with a single clip to attach objects thereto.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0007] The present invention relates to clip systems that attach to lanyards to secure personal items such as a bag, purse, wallet, keys, I.D. cards, etcetera while a person is riding on a amusement park ride. Ideally lanyards of the present invention are provided to park visitors upon entry and therefore can be used on various types of amusement rides.
[0008] In reference to FIG. 1, a first embodiment of the present invention is depicted. This first embodiment includes a neck strap 20 with an adjustable buckle 22. The first embodiment also includes a clip 40 attached to the strap 20 at an attachment end 24. The clip 40 includes a thumb lever 42 that opens a clip attachment 44 and once open an individual simply attaches their objects to the clip 40 to secure their personal items around their neck.
[0009] A second embodiment, shown in FIG. 2, includes two clips, the clip 40 and a second clip 50, where the clips 40, 50 are attached to each respective end of strap 10. The strap 10 includes an adjustable buckle 12 and each clip operates with the thumb levers 42, 52. The clips 40, 50 may be open as needed to attach personal items thereto.
[0010] FIG. 3 depicts a third embodiment of the present invention wherein the third embodiment has an ankle opening 34 on a strap 30. This particular embodiment allows an individual to secure their personal items at their ankle level by inserting a foot through opening 34. An adjustable buckle 32 is provided where the clip 40 is attached at an opposing end of the strap 30. These clip arrangements may be made available to amusement park riders and provide the means to secure personal items, such as eyeglasses to strap 10 of FIG. 2. Clips may be worn around the individual's neck or with the two clip systems may be employed one clip may be attached to the individuals clothing and a second clip attached to the objects that are being secured. As a result, the systems of the present invention secure of objects conveniently for an amusement park ride participant.
