DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0050] The following description is disclosed to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the present invention. Preferred embodiments are provided in the following description only as examples and modifications will be apparent to those skilled in the art. The general principles defined in the following description would be applied to other embodiments, alternatives, modifications, equivalents, and applications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0051] Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 7 of the drawings, a finger spinner according to a first preferred embodiment is illustrated, wherein the finger spinner comprises a central pivot element 10, a spinning element 20 pivoted around the central pivot element 10 and an attaching base 30 supporting the central pivot element 10, wherein the attaching base 30 provided in the finger spinner is capable of being attached to a C-shape, O-shape ring or a nail surface, so that the finger spinner of the present invention is adapted to apply on a user's finger as hand playing pieces.
[0052] Specifically, the central pivot element 10 further comprises a limiting top 11 and a pivoting column 12 connected with the limiting top 11. The spinning element 20 further comprises a spinning body 21 and at least two spinning vanes 22 symmetrical connected around the spinning body 21. The spinning body 21 forms a central hole 210 in the center. The pivoting column 12 is pentrated through the spinning body 21 via the central hole 210 and is supported by the attaching base 30. Preferably, in this first preferred embodiment of the present invention, the spinning body 21 is coupled with the pivoting column 12 in a sleeve connection. Preferably, a diameter of the central hole 210 is smaller than a diameter of the attaching base 30.
[0053] The attaching base 30 further comprises a base wall 31 and an attaching bottom 32 connected with the base wall 31, wherein the base wall 31 and the attaching bottom 32 form a supporting cavity 33 and a bottom end of the pivoting column 12 is received in the supporting cavity 33, so that the supporting cavity 33 limits a pivoting space of the pivoting column 12 of the central pivot element 10, thereby the spinning element 20 being stably pivoted around the central pivot element 10.
[0054] In response to the actuation of an external force, the spinning element 20 is rotatably mounted on the central pivot element 10. According to the first preferred embodiment, the spinning element 20 is pivoted around the central pivot element 10 on the attaching base 30. Specifically, in response to the external force applied by manual operations or winds, the spinning vanes 22 are automatically rotated with the spinning body 21 about the stationary central pivot element 10. In other words, the spinning element 20 pivotally rotates around the central pivot element 10.
[0055] More specifically, the number of the spinning vanes 22 can be implemented as two, three or more. For example, in other alternative mode of the first preferred embodiment, the spinning element 20 comprises one spinning body 21 and two spinning vanes 22. The two spinning vanes 22 are arranged at a 180.degree. angle interval with each other and symmetrical connected to the spinning body 21 so as to keep the overall balance of the spinning element 20. In this first preferred embodiment of the present invention, the spinning element 20 comprises one spinning body 21 and three spinning vanes 22. The three spinning vanes 22 are equilateral triangularly arranged around the central spinning body 21 so as to keep the overall balance of the spinning element 20, so that the force of friction generated during the rotating process of the spinning element 20 is reduced, thereby extending the spinning time of the finger spinner of the present invention. One skilled in the art will understand that the number of the spinning vanes 22 in the embodiment of the present invention described above is exemplary only and not intended to be limiting. In other words, the spinning vanes 22 are symmetrically arranged and connected around the spinning body 21 so as to keep the overall balance of the spinning element 20.
[0056] More specifically, each of the spinning vanes 22 of the spinning element 20 forms a vane hole 220 in the center so as to reduce the weight of each of the spinning vanes 22, so that the overall weight of the spinning element 20 is reduced and the spinning time of the finger spinner of the present invention is extended.
[0057] It is worth mentioning that each of the spinning vanes 22 of the spinning element 20 has edge blend of outside and inside profile, so that when the finger spinner of the present invention is spinning, the spinning vanes 22 of the spinning element 20 cannot scratch users, thereby ensuring safety.
[0058] It is worth mentioning that a cross sectional size of the limiting top 11 is larger than a cross sectional size of the central hole 210 so as to prevent the spinning vanes 22 of the spinning element 20 being off from the pivoting column 12.
[0059] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 7 of the drawings, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the finger spinner is capable of being supported on the skins or nail surfaces of fingers by the attaching bottom 32 of the attaching base 30 contacting with the skins or nails of fingers. The attaching bottom 32 of the attaching base 30 can also be affixed to the fingers by adhesive. For example, the finger spinner can be used as a nail decoration for people especially for the female by affixing the attaching bottom 32 of the attaching base 30 to a nail surface of the finger. Moreover, the rotating spinning vanes 22 of the spinning element 20 increase artistic appearance and attractiveness of the finger spinner used as the nail decoration for female.
[0060] Moreover, in other embodiments, the finger spinner can also be coupled with a finger ring by the attaching bottom 32 of the attaching base 30 being adhered to the surface of the finger ring. As a result, users wear a finger ring with the finger spinner of the present invention and the finger spinner adhered on the finger ring is capable of spinning in response to the external force apply by manual operations or winds. One skilled in the art will understand that the embodiment of the present invention as shown in the drawings and described above is exemplary only and not intended to be limiting, the finger spinner can be coupled with a finger ring by various means.
