A multipurpose vessel comprising: a vessel including a deck; a plurality of opening on the deck of the vessel, each one of the opening defining a compartment below of the deck; a console module placed on one of the compartments, location of the console module is interchangeable among the compartments; at least one of a bench module for passengers, a cargo container module , and a tank module placed on a corresponding remaining compartments, the at least one bench module, cargo container module , and tank module are interchangeable among the compartments; a tank placed below each one of the compartments, the fuel tanks are used as fuel tank or ballast; each compartment having a height that depends on a vertical wall of the vessel.

6. The multipurpose vessel according to claim 5, wherein each opening further includes a hatch.

7. The multipurpose vessel according to claim 5, wherein the modules are arranged in the individual compartments as required.

8. The multipurpose vessel according to claim 5, wherein the modules are arranged in the combined compartments with support of spacers.

9. The multipurpose vessel according to claim 5, wherein a drive motor of the vessel is provide as an interchangeable module and is located in the compartment closest to a stern of the vessel.

Description:

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001] This application is a national stage entry of PCT/BR2016/050258 filed Oct. 14, 2016, under the International Convention.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] This specification of the patent concerns a vessel that is adaptable to multiple utilitarian purposes, and, more specifically, a multipurpose vessel, produced from a rigid hull, manufactured by a process of extrusion and thermo-fusion, with a tubular peripheral edge, capable of mitigating damages, reducing wear, increasing the resistance to shock, and easy to repair.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Vessels produced from high density polyethylene are already known. They are resistant to impacts and abrasion, as well as being durable and highly resistant to chemical products, when compared with models manufactured in aluminum, wood or fiberglass.

[0004] Vessels produced from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene are also already known in the protection of aluminum vessels, due to their low friction coefficient and wear by abrasion, which makes them more indicated where there is a movement of parts that are prone to friction.

[0005] It is also known that both the vessels produced in high density polyethylene and the vessels produced in ultra high molecular weight polyethylene are generally employed in diverse utilitarian activities, with several types of superstructures. Having only the control console in common, they adopt their own layout for each practical application.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Despite the effectiveness of the vessels produced in high density polyethylene or in ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, there is no knowledge of a vessel that is adaptable to multiple utilitarian purposes, from the use of functional modules that compose its superstructure, integrated interchangeably to the infrastructure of the vessel.

[0007] Therefore, it has become desirable to propose the means that make possible the suitability of the vessel for the intended purposes, practically and quickly. This can be performed manually or using a simple lifting device, such as, for example, a hoist, to arrange the various modules, in accordance with the purpose of the task to be performed. They can be arranged in several positions along the deck, in accordance with the distribution of the cargo to be transported, with tanks, arranged below the installation compartments of the aforesaid modules, which can be used as fuel tanks and/or as ballast. The aforesaid compartments can be configured individually or in combination.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] For a better understanding of the proposed multipurpose vessel, reference is made to the attached figures, in order for it to be entirely reproduced with appropriate expertise, allowing for the full characterization of its functionality. The figures are merely illustrative and can vary, as long as they do not avoid the proposed functional principle, and where:

[0009] FIG. 1 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the deck compartments with the closing hatches;

[0010] FIG. 2 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the individual openings of the deck compartments, without the closing hatches;

[0011] FIG. 3 illustrates a side in a longitudinal section of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the deck compartments with the closing hatches;

[0012] FIG. 4 illustrates a side in a longitudinal section of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the individual openings of the deck compartments, without the closing hatches;

[0013] FIG. 5 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the deck compartments with the closing hatches;

[0014] FIG. 6 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the combined openings of the deck compartments, without the closing hatches;

[0015] FIG. 7 illustrates a side in a longitudinal section of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the deck compartments with the closing hatches;

[0016] FIG. 8 illustrates a side in a longitudinal section of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the combined openings of the deck compartments, without the closing hatches;

[0017] FIGS. 9 to 12 illustrate the upper views in perspective of the possible installation positions of the control console module in both the embodiments of the vessel;

[0018] FIG. 13 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the installation of different modules in the individual openings of the deck compartments;

[0019] FIG. 14 illustrates a side view in a longitudinal section of the first embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the installation of different modules in the individual openings of the deck compartments;

[0020] FIG. 15 illustrates an upper view in perspective of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the installation of different modules in the combined openings of the deck compartments; and

[0021] FIG. 16 illustrates a side view in a longitudinal section of the second embodiment of the vessel, illustrating the installation of different modules in the combined openings of the deck compartments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0022] In accordance with that illustrated in the attached figures, the proposed multipurpose vessel (1) seeks to make the vessel suitable for the intended purposes, practically and quickly. This can be performed manually or using a simple lifting device, such as, for example, a hoist (not illustrated), to arrange the various modules, in accordance with the purpose of the task to be performed. For this, openings are provided on the deck of the vessel, which, when not in use, are closed by means of a hatch (2), defining individual or combined compartments (3), where the control console module (6) can be installed, whose position can vary in accordance with the distribution of the cargo to be transported, in combination with other modules, such as, for example, a bench module (7) for passengers, a cargo container module (8), or a tank module (9), amongst others. There are tanks (4) below the compartments, which can be used as fuel tanks, in order to increase the range of the vessel, and/or as ballast. The aforesaid compartments can also be configured individually or in combination, in accordance with the height of the vertical walls (5) of the holds of the vessel.

[0023] The modules are arranged in the individual compartments as required, whereas their installation in the combined compartments is performed with the support of conventional spacers (not illustrated).

[0024] The drive motor of the vessel can also be supplied in the form of an interchangeable module and should be preferably located in the compartment closest to the stern.
