BACKGROUND
1. Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates generally to pants, and more particularly to pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, in which magnets are alternately disposed such that the pants prevent the magnets from sticking to each other during daily life activities, such as walking, but enable the magnets to stick to each other when a user sits in a public place, thereby preventing the phenomenon of causing an appearance against etiquette.
2. Description of the Related Art
[0002] According to the report of the Hankook Ilbo dated Dec. 10, 2016, the fact that "one of every four male passengers was a person who splayed his legs" was reported.
[0003] In greater detail, according to the report, one of every four male passengers in New York City Subway was surveyed as a person who splayed his legs, and a campaign for the slogan "Gentlemen! Please do not sit with your legs splayed out" was being conducted.
[0004] As described above, there has been a serious problem in which in benches on which a plurality of person sits side by side in public places, such as a subway train, a bus, etc., inconvenience is caused to other passengers due to male passengers who sit with their legs splayed out.
[0005] As the above problem became a social issue, the Korean comedian "Kim Byung-Man" introduced "conscious pants" for persons who splayed their legs out in the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) comedy program "Gag Concert" in August of 2011.
[0006] The pants proposed in the comedy program are configured such that zippers are installed on two sides of the pants and thus legs are prevented from splaying out due to the closed zippers even when legs give out.
[0007] However, pants are normally used as a fashion item, and thus it is difficult to apply the pants proposed in the comedy program in real life due to its appearance.
[0008] In order to solve the social problem which occurs due to passengers who sit with their legs splayed out, Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-2015-0102650 (patent document 1) discloses a "Bench for Preventing Legs from Splaying Out" in which the reason for the splaying of legs is recognized as the structural problem of the pelvis and legs are prevented from splaying out by installing leg rests on a bench.
[0009] However, the structure disposed in patent document 1 requires enormous installation expenses when the structure is applied to all existing benches. Accordingly, it is difficult to apply the structure as a practical countermeasure.
[0010] Meanwhile, as a technology for correcting angular deformity, Korean Patent No. 10-0706028 (patent document 2) discloses a "Pants Device using Magnetic Ropes for the Correction of Angular Deformity."
[0011] The technology disclosed in patent document 2 is not intended to prevent legs from splaying out on a bench in a public place, but is used for the correction of angular deformity. As shown in FIG. 1, a pair of long magnets 1 and 2 are installed on opposite portions of pants in a lengthwise direction and thus stick parts of the pants of a human, having angular deformity, to each other, thereby aiding in the correction of the angular deformity.
[0012] Furthermore, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0365513 (patent document 3) discloses an "Angular Deformity Assistance Pants." As shown in FIG. 2, complements 4 are installed on both legs, and a pair of Velcro tapes 6 are installed and attached to each other, thereby aiding in the correction of angular deformity.
[0013] Meanwhile, there are no cases where pants to which the technology disclosed in patent document 2 or 3 is actually applied are commercialized.
[0014] The reason for this is that since the two legs of a user are normally accommodated inside pants and the user performs activities, such as walking, running, etc., with the pants on, the technology disclosed in patent document 2 causes the phenomenon in which the magnets stick to each other when the two legs of the user are located adjacent to each other, thereby seriously disrupting the activities, such as walking, of the user.
[0015] Furthermore, in the case of the technology disclosed in patent document 3, when a user stands up abruptly and walks or runs unintentionally in the state in which he or she sits with the two Velcro tapes attached and fastened to each other, the activity is disrupted by the attached two Velcro tapes due to the oblivion of the user.
[0016] Meanwhile, even when the Velcro tapes disclosed in patent document 3 are replaced with magnets, the same problem occurs.
[0017] In particular, pants need to provide convenience to daily life activities. In the case where a user performs an abrupt, unintentional movement with the pants of patent document 2 or 3 on, the user may collapse due to the Velcro tapes or long magnets, and thus an accident may occur.
SUMMARY
[0018] The present invention has been conceived to overcome the above-described problems of the conventional art, and an object of the present invention is to provide pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, in which two magnets are installed on both leg accommodation parts configured to accommodate respective legs of a user and the two magnets are alternately disposed in the state in which both the accommodation parts are arranged in parallel to each other, and thus the two magnets are prevented from sticking to each other due the magnetism thereof when the two accommodation parts graze each other during walking, thereby preventing the pants from causing inconvenience in daily life activities, such as walking, etc.
[0019] Furthermore, an object of the present invention is to provide pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, which enable two magnets to be fastened to each other with a snapping sound by the magnetism thereof when a user slightly raises one leg or one leg accommodation part in the state of sitting on a seat, such as a bench, thereby conveniently preventing legs from splaying out.
[0020] Moreover, an object of the present invention is to provide pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, in which the fastening force between two magnets is smaller than the force which intentionally splays out the legs of a user, and thus two accommodation parts magnetically fastened to each other are naturally separated from each other the moment the user stands up from his or her seat, thereby minimizing inconvenience when the user intentionally separates the two magnets.
[0021] In summary, an object of the present invention is to provide pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, which do not cause any inconvenience in the normal activities of a user, but conveniently enable two accommodation parts to stick to each other and to prevent legs from unintentionally splaying out when the user sits on a bench in a public place, thereby enabling the user to observe the rules of etiquette in public places.
[0022] According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, the pants including: one leg accommodation part configured to accommodate one leg of a user; and the other leg accommodation part configured to accommodate the other leg of the user; wherein one magnetic material having magnetism is installed on one side surface of the one leg accommodation part, and the other magnetic material configured to be fastened to the one magnetic material by the magnetism of the one magnetic material is installed on one side surface of the other leg accommodation part; and wherein the one magnetic material and the other magnetic material are installed alternately above and below a virtual axis perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the pants in the state in which the one leg accommodation part and the other leg accommodation part have been spread out in parallel with each other.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0030] Pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0031] The pants according to the present invention includes one leg accommodation part 11 configured to accommodate one leg of a user and the other leg accommodation part 12 configured to accommodate the other leg of the user, as shown in FIG. 3, like common pants.
[0032] Furthermore, the upper portions of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 are coupled to each other through sewing, like common pants, and the lower abdomen and buttocks of the user are accommodated inside the upper parts.
[0033] In the pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out according to the present invention, one magnetic material 21 having magnetism is installed on one side surface of the one leg accommodation part 11, and the other magnetic material 22 configured to be fastened to the one magnetic material 21 by the magnetism of the one magnetic material 21 is installed on one side surface of the other leg accommodation part 12, as shown in FIG. 3.
[0034] In this case, as shown in FIG. 3, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are installed alternately above and below a virtual axis "a" perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the pants in the state in which the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 have been spread out in parallel with each other.
[0035] In greater detail, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are preferably installed on the portions of the pants near the knees of the user.
[0036] The reason for this is to prevent legs from splaying out on the knee portions because on these portions, the angle at which the legs splay out is largest and the force at which the legs splay out is strongest.
[0037] In other words, the most preferred embodiment of the "one side surface" in the foregoing description may be viewed as "a surface near a knee of a user."
[0038] In this case, the surfaces on which the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are installed may be inner surfaces of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12, as shown in FIG. 6, or may be outer surfaces of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12, as shown in FIG. 7.
[0039] However, in view of the fact that common pants are a fashion item, the inner surfaces are preferable to the outer surfaces. The one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be installed on the outer surfaces, as shown in FIG. 7, just in case the disposition is not visually distinct.
[0040] A case where the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are installed on the outer surfaces is advantageous in that the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 installed on the outer circumferential surfaces of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 do not come into contact with the skins of the user and a feeling of irritation is not caused by the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22.
[0041] However, if a feeling of irritation caused by the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 can be minimized by the components, flexibility, fastening method or the like of magnetic materials, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be installed on the inner surfaces.
[0042] Meanwhile, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be installed on surfaces of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 by a method, such as bonding, back-stitch, stamping, or the like. In some cases, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be formed by knitting the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 over parts or surfaces of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 in such a manner as to dispose magnetic threads during the process of weaving the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12.
[0043] Furthermore, a pair of magnetic materials 20 including the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be composed of materials configured to be attracted to each other by using various types of magnetism, as in the case where the pair of magnetic materials 20 are composed of permanent magnets having different polarities, in the case where the one magnetic material 21 is composed of a magnet and the other magnetic material 22 is composed of a metal plate configured to be attracted to the magnet, in the case where the one magnetic material 21 is composed of an electromagnet configured to become a magnet through the application of current and the other magnetic material 22 is composed of a metal configured to be attracted to the electromagnet, etc.
[0044] Furthermore, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be installed alternately above and below a virtual axis "a" perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the pants in the state in which the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 have been spread out in parallel with each other in such a manner that the lower end of the other magnetic material 22 and the upper end of the one magnetic material 21 are alternately disposed with respect to a horizontal line, or the upper end of the other magnetic material 22 and the lower end of the one magnetic material 21 are alternately disposed with respect to a horizontal line, rather than with respect to the median line of the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22.
[0045] In greater detail, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are alternately disposed such that there is no fastening force attributable to the magnetism thereof or fastening force is weak to the extent to which a user is not aware of the force at the location where, when the user walks with both the legs of the user accommodated in the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12, respectively, the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 are brought close to each other and thus the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 come close to each other.
[0046] In this case, although each of the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be plural in number on each of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12, a pair of magnets or two pairs of magnets are preferably located on portions near the knees by considering an esthetic appearance, a feeling of wearing, the locations where the force splaying out legs occurs, etc.
[0047] From FIG. 4, it can be seen that in the pants according to the present invention configured as described above, the magnetic materials 21 and 22 are reliably alternately disposed in the state in which a user has worn the pants and has gathered his or her two legs.
[0048] The operation of the pants according to the present invention is described below. As shown in FIG. 5, a user may sit on a bench in a public place in the state in which he or she has worn the pants according to the present invention.
[0049] The upper view of FIG. 5 shows the state in which two legs splay out naturally when he or she sits on the bench.
[0050] In this state, the user gathers the two legs, as shown in the intermediate view of FIG. 5. In this case, the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 are alternately disposed, and thus they are not fastened to each other.
[0051] In this state, when the user slightly raises one side of the pants or his or her one leg, as shown in the lower view of FIG. 5, the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12 are fastened to each other by magnetic force the moment the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 reach a location where they come into contact with each other.
[0052] Meanwhile, the fastening force attributable to the magnetism of the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 may be adjusted based on the degree of the force which is applied when a user moves rapidly in the state in which the portions of the one leg accommodation part 11 and the other leg accommodation part 12, where the one magnetic material 21 and the other magnetic material 22 come into contact with each other, have been fastened to each other and based on the degree of the force which unintentionally splays out two knees when a user sits.
[0053] In other words, it is preferred that the fastening force is larger than the force which unintentionally splays out legs when a user sits and is smaller than the force which is applied when a user moves intentionally, thereby minimizing an impediment to the intentional movement.
[0054] As a result, it is preferable to minimize an impediment to the intentional movement of a user, and thus the fastening force attributable to the magnetism is suitable when it is somewhat larger than the force which unintentionally splays out legs.
[0055] Moreover, the pants according to the present invention are not limited to only pants for a male, but also include pants for a female. The pants according to the present invention may be applied to all types of pants including the pants for going out, the pants of housedresses, sports pants, etc.
[0056] According to the present invention, there are provided the pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, in which the two magnets are installed on both the leg accommodation parts configured to accommodate respective legs of a user and the two magnets are alternately disposed in the state in which both the accommodation parts are arranged in parallel to each other, and thus the two magnets are prevented from sticking to each other due the magnetism thereof when the two accommodation parts graze each other during walking, thereby preventing the pants from causing inconvenience in daily life activities, such as walking, etc.
[0057] Furthermore, there are provided the pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, which enable the two magnets to be fastened to each other with a snapping sound by the magnetism thereof when a user slightly raises one leg or one leg accommodation part in the state of sitting on a seat, such as a bench, thereby conveniently preventing legs from splaying out.
[0058] Moreover, there are provided the pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, in which the fastening force between the two magnets is smaller than the force which intentionally splays out the legs of a user, and thus the two accommodation parts magnetically fastened to each other are naturally separated from each other the moment the user stands up from his or her seat, thereby minimizing inconvenience when the user intentionally separates the two magnets.
[0059] In summary, there are provided the pants capable of preventing legs from unintentionally splaying out, which do not cause any inconvenience in the normal activities of a user, but conveniently enable the two accommodation parts to stick to each other and to prevent legs from unintentionally splaying out when the user sits on a bench in a public place, thereby enabling the user to observe the rules of etiquette in public places.
[0060] Although the specific embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
