Description:
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
[0001] This application claims the benefit of provisional application filed on 2016 Dec. 27 with its application No. 62/439,276.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
[0002] Present invention related to the cleaning tool, specifically the device and method for cleaning flat surfaces and semi-flat surfaces.
[0003] In cleaning the flat and semi-flat surfaces such as computer screen, TV screen, touch screen, scanner, copier, showcase, mirror, window, etc., the person commonly uses cleaning cloth. Microfiber cloth is used for high quality cleaning. However, the user commonly does wiping with small bits of cloth by hand. When the cleaning surface area becomes large or consists of many surfaces, hand wiping takes time and labor and is not efficient. There are wand type tools available in the market. However cleaning head made by a piece of microfiber cloth is attached to the wand. It is not easy to wash by machine and reuse although it may possible.
[0004] Present invention provides the structural support to cleaning head (cloth) and makes wiping process more efficient and effective. It saves time and labor.
[0005] In the present invention, especially the devices, having separate cleaning head, provides easy re-usability by washing only separated cleaning head (cloth). It also provide easy usability by hand and covers much wider surface by one stroke. Its cleaning quality is very good, due to the structural support for the Cleaning cloth. Therefore, it provides high quality cleaning, effectively and efficiently.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
[0006] Present invention provides the structural support to the cleaning head (cloth or material) and does cleaning efficiently and effectively and with good cleaning quality.
[0007] Since the flat surface of the base provides more uniform force on the surface of the object than hand wiping, the cleaning performance is more effective and with high quality than hand wiping. The base size of the tool, which is flexible, be able to cover wider area than the areas of small bit of cloth by hand wiping. In cleaning the surface, when the user employs present invention, the job becomes easier and faster than the job done by hand wiping. Those advantages help the user to save time and labor in the job.
[0008] In the tool model which has separate cleaning head (cloth or material) the device has following additional advantages. Since the tool and cleaning head are separated, the cleaning head (cloth or material) can be washed separately and reused easily. Since the used dirty area of the cloth is easily visible and isolated in the area where the device was used with, it is easy to find and use other area for second cleaning or next cleaning job.
[0009] In the present invention, especially the one, having the base, being made of wood, provides excellent performance to hold cleaning head (such as microfiber cloth) against slipping the cloth during the cleaning operation. The friction between the microfiber cloth and wood surface provides solid footage to hold microfiber cloth against slipping of the cloth. It is due to the combination of roughness of wood surface and microfiber cloth. Its cleaning performance is excellent. If the base is made of non-wood material, for example, such as plastic, the base, having texturing or having rubber coating (or other frictional material coating) may be employed in order to provide better friction between microfiber cloth and base surface.
[0010] The handle position on the base is flexible, depending on the design for specific purpose. The handle position which is sifted to one side of the base provides better performance against flipping due to the moment. Also the handle position which is located in the center of the base, between the front and the rear provides suitability both for left hander and right hander usage.
