BAG SAVER

Abstract

The BAG SAVER is a device that claims the ability to hold, support and create the ability to clean any sort of plastic enclosure/bag in a dishwasher machine.

Description

[0001] BAG SAVER is a dishwasher apparatus inserted onto the dish separators of the bottom rack and used to fasten and support a Ziploc bag(or similarly equivalent) to be cleaned and reused.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Stainless Steel Model

[0002] The Stainless Steel model is comprised of a stainless steel rod of varying lengths formed in a oblong half circle to fit varying sized seal-able bags(sandwich, gallon, etc.) with a steel alligator clip mounted on one side of the base used to attach the bag to the BAG SAVER, along with a steel cylinder mounted on the other side of the base used to attach the BAG SAVER to the bottom rack of the dishwasher's dish separators. The model will then be coated with a Fluoropolymer or other corrosion resistant/protective finish.

Molded Plastic Model

[0003] The molded plastic model is comprised of a molded plastic rod of varying lengths formed in a oblong half circle to fit varying sized seal-able bags(sandwich, gallon, etc.) with a plastic alligator clip(having a steel or plastic spring mechanism) mounted on one side of the base used to attach the bag to the BAG SAVER, along with a plastic or steel(with corrosion/protective coating) cylinder mounted on the other side of the base used to attached the BAG SAVER to the bottom of the rack of the dishwasher's dish separators.

Industrial Model

[0004] The industrial model is comprised of either two materials(or a combination of the two) as stated above(stainless steel having a corrosion resistant/protective coating applied) formed as a complete dishwasher rack specifically designed to fit a particular make/model dishwasher or universally designed to fit any dishwasher make/model as a rack insert. The inner portions of the dishwasher rack are comprised of the same bag supports and fastening design as the stainless steel and molded plastic models however permanently attached to the rack insert itself.

Claims

2. The ability to create a means of supporting a plastic bag or similar endosure in a mechanical dishwasher by means of a rolled or flat steel with a corrosion resistant coating or a molded plastic oval, half circle or rectangular support either permanently affixed onto the mechanical dishwasher's tray(s) component; or, removable by an attachment method onto the mechanical dishwasher's tray(s) component.

3. The BAG SAVER to create the method of attachment to the dish separators of a mechanical dishwasher tray(s) by means of a cylinder(s) to which one or both fit onto to secure the BAG SAVER in place.

4. The ability to fasten a plastic bag or similar enclosure in place to be cleaned by the means of an alligator style clip or other fastener style means that pinch the plastic bag or similar enclosure in place to which the clip/fastener is permanently affixed or attached with the means of adjust-ability to the oval, half circle or rectangular rolled or flat steel with a corrosion resistant coating or molded plastic support.
