(g) BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) Field of the Invention

(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98

[0006] The disclosure and prior art relates to holding devices and more particularly pertains to a new holding device for dispensing shampoo in a shower.

(h) BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a shower rod that may be positioned in a shower. A bottle is provided and the bottle may contain a fluid. The bottle has a top end and a bottom end. The top end is open to release the fluid. A pouch is suspended from the shower rod. The bottle is insertably positioned in the pouch. Moreover, the bottle is inverted in the pouch. Thus, the fluid is gravitationally urged out of the top end.

[0008] There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated.

[0009] There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

[0010] The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

(i) BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)

[0011] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0012] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a bottle holding system according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0013] FIG. 2 is a front view of a pouch of an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0014] FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a pouch of an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0015] FIG. 4 is a top view of a pouch of an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0016] FIG. 5 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

(j) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new holding device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0018] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the bottle holding system 10 generally comprises a shower rod 12 that may be positioned in a shower. A bottle 14 is provided and the bottle 14 contains a fluid 16. The bottle 14 has a top end 18 and a bottom end 20. The top end 18 is open to release the fluid 16. The bottle 14 may be a shampoo bottle 14 or the like. The fluid 16 may be shampoo or the like.

[0019] A pouch 22 is provided. The pouch 22 is suspended from the shower rod 12. The bottle 14 is insertably positioned in the pouch 22. The bottle 14 is inverted in the pouch 22. Thus, the fluid 16 is gravitationally urged out of the top end 18.

[0020] The pouch 22 has an upper end 24, a lower end 26 and an outer wall 28 extending therebetween. Each of the upper end 24 and the lower end 26 is open. The outer wall 28 is continuous such that the pouch 22 as a cylindrical shape. The outer wall 28 tapers inwardly between the upper end 24 and the lower end 26. The outer wall 28 is comprised of a resiliently stretchable material.

[0021] A first strap 30 is coupled to the pouch 22. The first strap 30 has a distal end 32 with respect to the upper end 24 of the pouch 22. A second strap 34 is coupled to the pouch 22. The second strap 34 has a distal end 36 with respect to the upper end 24 of the pouch 22.

[0022] Each of the first strap 30 and the second strap 34 is draped around the shower rod 12. The distal end 32 of the first strap 30 is matable with the distal end 36 of the second strap 34. Thus, the pouch 22 is retained on the shower rod 12. A first coupler 38 may be coupled to the first strap 30 and the first coupler 38 may be aligned with the distal end 32 of the first strap 30. A second coupler 40 may be coupled to the second strap 34 and the second coupler 40 may be aligned with the distal end 32 of the second strap 34. Each of the first coupler 38 and the second coupler 40 may comprise complementary hook and loop fasteners or the like.

[0023] In use, each of the first strap 30 and the second strap 34 are draped over the shower rod 12. The first strap 30 is mated to the second strap 34. Thus, the pouch 22 is suspended from the shower rod 12. The bottle 14 is positioned on the pouch 22 having the top end 18 of the bottle 14 extending outwardly from the lower end 26 of the pouch 22. Thus, the fluid 16 in the bottle 14 collects in the top end 18 of the bottle 14. The fluid 16 is selectively dispensed from the top end 18 for bathing purposes.

[0024] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, system and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0025] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word "comprising" is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded.

[0026] A reference to an element by the indefinite article "a" does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
