Abstract

A mattress cover with storage pocket includes a mattress cover, which includes a top cover and a surrounding side cover. The top side of the surrounding side cover is connected with the top cover. A storage pocket is located on the side of the surrounding side cover. There could be more than one storage pockets with different sizes in this design. The storage pocket further includes an opening. The opening could be on either side of said surrounding side cover. By adding storage pockets with different sizes at the side of mattress cover, it provides more options and more spaces for storage before bed time. The storage pockets located at the outside of the surrounding side cover could to store items such as books or cell phones. The storage pockets located at the inside of the surrounding side cover could be used to conceal valuable personal belongings.

INVENTION FIELD

[0001] The disclosure is generally related to a mattress cover and more specifically to a mattress cover with storage pocket.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The disclosed mattress, which lies between the human body and the supporting structure such as a box spring or bed frame, meets consumers' requirement for healthy and comfortable sleep. A good mattress ensures the user's healthy and comfortable sleep. Mattress usually consists of a mattress cover and a mattress core. The main function of a mattress cover is to cover the mattress core, and to ensure the stability of the mattress core. Mattress covers are usually made of soft fabrics and are used to cover a mattress. In daily life, people like to read books or play with their cell phones on bed prior to sleeping. Instead of putting these items beside the bed, such as on a nightstand, people tend to place these personal belongings next to their pillow. Due to the limited space on bed, these items may easily fall off the bed. To make matters worse, some research has given rise to the belief that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by cellular phones may contribute to negative health effects when place in close proximity to the human head. Until now, an easy and convenient solution did not exist for providing storage places on the bed itself. Improving the utilization of the mattress cover by adding the function of storage should be considered when designing a mattress cover.

SUMMARY

[0003] In order to overcome the deficiencies of current designs, the present disclosure provides a mattress cover with storage capabilities. By including one or more storage pockets on the side of the mattress cover, a mattress will have storage capabilities. The storage pockets may store items such as books and cell phones. An open slot is added on the side of the surrounding side cover of the mattress cover. This open slot may provide extra storage spaces for personal belongings.

[0004] To achieve the intended storage purpose, the technical details of the present inventions are as follows:

[0005] A mattress cover includes a top cover and a surrounding side cover. The top side of the surrounding side cover is connected with the top cover. A storage pocket is located on the side of the surrounding side cover. An opening is at the top of storage pocket. The opening is located either inside or outside of said surrounding side cover.

[0006] One side of top cover is fixed with said surrounding side cover and the remaining three sides are connected with the surrounding side cover via a zipper or snap button(s).

[0007] Another preferred embodiment the present inventions may include more than one storage pockets with different sizes.

[0008] A zipper or one or more snap buttons are located at the edge of said opening.

[0009] A preferred embodiment may further include a pocket cover covering the opening of the storage pocket.

[0010] It may further include a charging cable located inside of said storage pocket.

This present inventions have a simple structure and practical features that them it valuable and marketable products.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0015] The following includes a detailed explanation of the various embodiments of the present inventions. However, the inventions are not limited to the following descriptions. The present disclosure aims to protect all modifications and changes within the scope of inventions.

[0016] FIG. 1 depicts a mattress cover 9 with storage pockets. The mattress cover 9 includes a top cover 7 and a surrounding side cover 8. The surrounding side cover 8 and the top cover 7 are fixed on one side and connected by zipper A 1 or one or more snap buttons on the remaining three sides. A storage pocket 6 is located on the outside of said surrounding side cover 8. There could be more than one storage pocket 6 with different sizes in this design. An opening 3 is located at said storage pocket 6. The opening 3 could be on either side of said surrounding side cover 8. A zipper B 4 or a snap button is located at said opening 3. A pocket cover 5 is on the outside of said opening 3. A charging cable for cell phones 2 can be placed inside said storage pocket 6.

[0017] Before bed, people may put their books or cellphone into said storage pocket 6 through said opening 3 on the outside of surrounding side cover 8. At the same time, the charging cable 2 in storage pocket 6 may be used for charging a cell phone. Zipper B 4 can be used to zip up the opening 3. Whenever needed, people can conveniently pick their books or cellphone out of the storage pocket 6.

[0018] To secure personal belongings, the first step is unzipping zipper A 1. One then places items into a storage pocket 6 located inside of the surrounding side cover 8 via the opening 3. Finally one closes zipper B 4 followed by closing zipper A 1. It is impossible to see the storage pocket 6 and items inside of the storage pocket 6. This concealed structure works as a security storage.

Claims

1. A mattress cover with storage pocket comprising: a top cover; a surrounding side cover; a storage pocket with an opening on the side of said surrounding side cover; wherein the top edge of said surrounding side cover is connected with said top cover; and said opening of the storage pocket may be located on either side of said surrounding side cover.

2. The mattress cover of claim 1 wherein at least one side of said top cover is permanently connected with said surrounding side cover and the remaining sides of said top cover are connected with said surrounding side cover via a zipper or a plurality of snap buttons.

3. The mattress cover of claim 1 wherein the number of said storage pockets is more than one and said storage pockets are different in size.

4. The mattress cover of claim 1 wherein said opening of said storage pocket as a zipper or a snap button at the edge of said opening.

5. The mattress cover of claim 1 further comprises a pocket cover that covers said opening.

6. The mattress cover of claim 1 further comprises a charging cable inside said storage pocket.
