Abstract:
Roller brushes (e.g. vacuum cleaners, sweeping machines) collect hair and
debris around the bristles and tubing rendering the device ineffective.
This is an integrated system for safe and easy cutting and removal of the
debris, providing optimal machine performance.
The cutting device is either stored in a section of the machine housing
or a separate entity depending on the individual machine. The device
contains a sharp blade inside a protective shield. The bottom is ridged
to run along a grooved track.
A grooved track is placed between the bristles along the length of the
roller brush for the cutting device.
When cleaning is needed the device is moved along the grooved track
cutting the hair and debris into small segments.
A comb-type device with a hooked end will be used for removing the
segments of hair and debris from the bristles.Claims:
1. An integrated system consisting of a grooved track with a cutting
device built into a roller brush between the bristles for the removal of
hair and debris.Description:
