TOOTHPASTE TUBE CLIP ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR STORING A TOOTHBRUSH UNTO STAND-UP CAP TOOTHPASTE TUBE

Abstract

The above invention consist of a clip made of plastic material than can be attached to the non cap end of the toothpaste tube unto which the toothbrush will be attached thus retaining the toothbrush unto the toothpaste tube. The toothbrush brush can be easily pulled off from the clip when needed for brushing of the teeth and returned to the device after use. The back end of the clip is attached by sticker material such as glue unto the toothpaste tube at the area of the toothpaste tube opposite the cap where the toothpaste tube is less curved. When the tube is standing on the cap, the tooth brush is vertical with the handle (non-brush) end of the toothbrush at the cap end, and the neck of the toothbrush attached into the cavity of the clip at the opposite end, the toothbrush being upright or vertical.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] In modern times humans have been performing dental care by brushing of the teeth using a brush made of bristles and paste made of semisolid paste material. This has been very effective in maintaining good dental hygiene. Over the years various designs of tooth brushes have been invented. Also various formulations of toothpaste have been made. There has also been varying designs of the tube holding the contents of the paste including a more recent broad cap top that enables the toothpaste container to stand upright on the cap.

[0002] The present invention entails a new way of storing the toothbrush unto the toothpaste tube with the stand-up cap. This allows the toothbrush to be attached to the tube for convenient storage of the toothbrush after use and enables the toothbrush and toothpaste to be packaged as one unit.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[0003] It is intended that this invention enable a novel way of storing the toothbrush unto the toothpaste tube and hence facilitate the continued good practice of frequent brushing of the teeth including on the go while keeping the brush unto the toothpaste tube after use.

Claims

1. It is an object of the present invention to provide a toothbrush attachment clip fastened unto the toothpaste tube for the purpose of storing the toothbrush unto the tube. Another object of the present invention is to keep the toothbrush bristles away from surfaces which may not be hygienic such as countertops. Yet another object of the present invention is to allow drainage of water from the toothbrush bristles because the toothbrush is uptight after use when stored unto the device. Yet another object of the present invention is to personalize the toothpaste to the user and facilitate single user toothpaste use, hence avoiding contamination of paste by different users toothbrushes contacting the opening of the toothpaste tube.
