Abstract:
A unit designed to allow freedom to handle one and only one daily dosage
of medications or vitamins. The polypropylene base embodies seven
identical round holes that securely accepts one each, clear polypropylene
vial. The vials hinged lid snaps shut and is easily opened with a push of
ones thumb. Each vial displays one each of seven days of the week. All
vials would be filled with a daily AM or PM dose of medications or
vitamins. At the proper time, one simply removes the single vile from the
base for that appropriate day and time. To replenish on a weekly basis,
simply flip open each vial and count out the desire dosage.Claims:
a) A base having seven holes each corresponding with one day of the week.
b) Seven individual flip top vials that fit snugly into the holes of the base whereby said vials can be handled individually for pill consumption that allows user freedom to deal with one and only one dose of prescribed pills.
Description:
[0001] A preferred embodiment of the entire component is illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 4 on the included drawing.
[0002] The base consists of a solid material such as polypropylene, plastic or finished hardwood. The base would embody seven equal depth and equal diameter holes. Each hole represents one day of the week.
[0003] FIG. 1 of the included drawings is the front view of the aforementioned base.
[0004] FIG. 2 is the end view of the base.
[0005] FIG. 3 is the top view of the base.
[0006] FIG. 4 shows the base with a vile (3) to be inserted into the base. Each hole will accommodate one vial.
[0007] The vials which there are seven (one for each day of the week) are made of polypropylene or plastic. Each will possess a snap locking lid that securely locks with a "click" to insure the contents are secure.
[0008] The overall size of each unit will depend on the size of the vials to be used. Smaller vials would require a smaller base. Where as larger vials would require a larger base.
[0009] The operation is quite simple. A person fills each vial with the required dose of medications and administers on a daily or AM and PM as required.
