FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001]The present invention relates to bats, in particular to a safety basketball bat which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0002]It is often that the bat breaks when the player waves the bat. Possibly, the break section of the bat will beat somebody to induce accidents. Thus there are many designs aimed at improving the above mentioned defects for preventing the broken bat to fly out. In one prior art, a long channel is formed at a slender section of the bat and a rib is received in the channel for enhancing the structure of the bat.
[0003]However in the prior art, the rib in the channel is combined to the channel. Thus the prior art defect cannot be improved effectively.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004]Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to provide a safety basketball bat which is made of wood or other material and which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident. The safety basketball bat of the present invention comprises: a bat body; a hollow channel penetrating through a top end and a distal end of the bat body; a tube body installed in the hollow channel; one opening at one end of the hollow channel being installed with an inner thread; a stop ring being installed at another opening at another end of the hollow channel; an outer diameter of the stop ring being larger than an outer diameter of the tube body; and a tightening cover with an outer thread engaged with the inner thread for tightening the tube body within the bat body. Or no stop ring is used. Two tightening covers are installed at two ends of the hollow channel.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
[0017]Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, the safety basketball bat of the present invention is illustrated. The safety basketball bat of the present invention is a wood bat or a bat made of other material. The safety basketball bat of the present invention includes a bat body 1. A hollow channel 11 penetrates through a top end and a distal end of the bat body 1. A tube body 2 is installed in the hollow channel 11. One opening at one end of the hollow channel 11 is installed with an inner thread 21. A stop ring 22 is installed at another opening at another end of the hollow channel 11. An outer diameter of the stop ring 22 is larger than an outer diameter of the tube body 2. A tightening cover 3 with an outer thread 31 is engaged with the inner thread 21 for tightening the tube body 2 within the bat body 1. Thus, when the bat body 1 breaks as the bat body 1 is waved, the break section of the bat body 1 will not fly out so as to achieve the object of safety in playing basketball.
[0018]Referring to FIGS. 6 to 10, the second embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. The safety basketball bat of the present invention is a wood bat or a bat made of other material. The safety basketball bat of the present invention includes a bat body 1. A hollow channel 11 penetrates through a top end and a distal end of the bat body 1. A tube body 2 is installed in the hollow channel 11. Each of two openings at one end of the hollow channel 11 is installed with an inner thread 21. Each inner thread 21 is engaged with a tightening cover 3 for tightening the tube body 2 within the bat body 1. Thus, when the bat body 1 breaks as the bat body 1 is waved, the break section of the bat body 1 will not fly out so as to achieve the object of safety in playing basketball.
[0019]In FIGS. 1 to 5, an outer diameter of the stop ring 22 is larger than an inner diameter of the hollow channel 11. In FIGS. 1 to 10, an outer diameter of the tube body 2 is equal to or smaller than an inner diameter of the hollow channel 11. The tube body 2 may be a metal tube body or a non-metal tube body. The inner diameters of the hollow channel 11 are designable for setting the weight distribution of the bat. An outer diameter of the tightening cover 3 is larger than the inner diameters of the two openings of the hollow channel 11.
[0020]Therefore, by the design of the present invention, when the bat body 1 breaks as the bat body 1 is waved, the break section of the bat body 1 will not fly out so as to achieve the object of safety in playing basketball.

Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
Claims:
1. A safety baseball bat comprising:a bat body;a hollow channel
penetrating through a top end and a distal end of the bat body;a tube
body installed in the hollow channel; an opening at one end of the tube
body being formed with an inner thread;a stop ring being formed at
another opening at another end of the tube body; an outer diameter of the
stop ring being larger than an outer diameter of another portion of the
tube body; and the stop ring being protruded from an end portion of the
bat body and covering a part of the end portion; anda tightening cover
with an outer thread engaged with the inner thread of the tube body for
tightening the tube body within the bat body; and the cover having an
expansion plate which covers a part of another end portion of the bat
body.
2. A safety baseball bat comprising:a bat body;a hollow channel penetrating through a top end and a distal end of the bat body;a tube body installed in the hollow channel; each opening at two ends of the tube body being formed with an inner thread; each of the two openings of the tube body being installed with a tightening cover; an outer thread of the tightening cover being engaged with the inner thread for tightening the tube body within the bat body; and each cover having an expansion plate which covers a part of another end portion of the bat body.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001]The present invention relates to bats, in particular to a safety basketball bat which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0002]It is often that the bat breaks when the player waves the bat. Possibly, the break section of the bat will beat somebody to induce accidents. Thus there are many designs aimed at improving the above mentioned defects for preventing the broken bat to fly out. In one prior art, a long channel is formed at a slender section of the bat and a rib is received in the channel for enhancing the structure of the bat.
[0003]However in the prior art, the rib in the channel is combined to the channel. Thus the prior art defect cannot be improved effectively.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004]Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to provide a safety basketball bat which is made of wood or other material and which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident. The safety basketball bat of the present invention comprises: a bat body; a hollow channel penetrating through a top end and a distal end of the bat body; a tube body installed in the hollow channel; one opening at one end of the hollow channel being installed with an inner thread; a stop ring being installed at another opening at another end of the hollow channel; an outer diameter of the stop ring being larger than an outer diameter of the tube body; and a tightening cover with an outer thread engaged with the inner thread for tightening the tube body within the bat body. Or no stop ring is used. Two tightening covers are installed at two ends of the hollow channel.

A tightening cover 3 with an outer thread 31 is engaged with the inner thread 21 for tightening the tube body 2 within the bat body 1. Thus, when the bat body 1 breaks as the bat body 1 is waved, the break section of the bat body 1 will not fly out so as to achieve the object of safety in playing basketball.

In FIGS. 1 to 10, an outer diameter of the tube body 2 is equal to or smaller than an inner diameter of the hollow channel 11. The tube body 2 may be a metal tube body or a non-metal tube body. The inner diameters of the hollow channel 11 are designable for setting the weight distribution of the bat. An outer diameter of the tightening cover 3 is larger than the inner diameters of the two openings of the hollow channel 11.
