first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket to combine the
first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket together.

The shelving unit of claim 1, whereinthe first connecting bracket of the backplane has a side provided with a hollow mounting seat;the second connecting bracket of the backplane has a side provided with a mounting post combined with the mounting seat of the first connecting bracket by the fastening pin.
3. The shelving unit of claim 2, whereinthe mounting seat of the first connecting bracket has an inner portion provided with a receiving space;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is inserted into the receiving space of the mounting seat.

The shelving unit of claim 3, whereinthe mounting seat of the first connecting bracket is provided with two opposite protruding ears;the receiving space of the mounting seat is located between the two protruding ears of the mounting seat;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is clamped between the two protruding ears of the mounting seat.
5. The shelving unit of claim 4, whereineach of the two protruding ears of the mounting seat is provided with a first through hole;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is provided with a second through hole;the fastening pin extends through the first through hole of each of the two protruding ears of the mounting seat and the second through hole of the mounting post to combine the mounting seat of the first connecting bracket and the mounting post of the second connecting bracket together.
6. The shelving unit of claim 1, whereinthe shelving unit further comprises a support frame;the upright support of the backplane is detachably mounted on the support frame.
7. The shelving unit of claim 6, whereinthe support frame is provided with at least one locking hole;the upright support of the backplane is provided with at least one locking knob detachably locked in the locking hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 7, whereinthe locking hole of the support frame has an upper end provided with a circular passage and a lower end provided with an elongate locking slot having a dimension smaller than that of the circular passage;the locking knob of the upright support has a first end provided with a guide post protruding outwardly from the upright support and a second end provided with a circular locking piece inserted through the circular passage of the locking hole and locked onto the locking slot of the locking hole.
9. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the guide post of the locking knob is inserted through the circular passage of the locking hole and is detachably locked in the locking slot of the locking hole.
10. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the locking piece of the locking knob has a dimension equal to that of the circular passage of the locking hole and greater than that of the locking slot of the locking hole.
11. The shelving unit of claim 8, whereinthe support frame is further provided with a positioning hole;the upright support of the backplane is further provided with a positioning plug detachably positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 11, whereinthe positioning hole of the support frame is located above the locking hole of the support frame;the positioning plug of the upright support is located above the locking knob of the upright support and is directed downward toward the positioning hole of the support frame.
13. The shelving unit of claim 11, wherein the positioning plug of the upright support is attached to the upright support by a fixing strut.

The shelving unit of claim 11, whereinthe positioning plug of the upright support is positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame when the locking knob of the upright support is locked in the locking hole of the support frame;the positioning plug of the upright support is detached from the positioning hole of the support frame when the locking knob of the upright support is unlocked from the locking hole of the support frame.
15. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the locking piece of the locking knob extends through and protrudes outwardly from the circular passage of the locking hole.

The shelving unit of claim 11, wherein when the upright support of the backplane is moved downward relative to the support frame, the guide post of the locking knob is inserted into and locked in the locking slot of the locking hole, the locking piece of the locking knob is locked onto the locking slot of the locking hole, and the positioning plug of the upright support is moved downward and positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 8, whereinthe support frame is further provided with at least one screw bore;the upright support of the backplane is further provided with at least one fixing bore;the shelving unit further comprises at least one fastening bolt extending through the fixing bore of the upright support and screwed into the screw bore of the support frame to combine the upright support and the support frame together.
18. The shelving unit of claim 17, whereinthe screw bore of the support frame is located above the locking hole of the support frame;the fixing bore of the upright support is located above the locking knob of the upright support.Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002]The present invention relates to a quick and easy assembled backplane on a shelving unit and, more particularly, to a shelving unit whose backplane is quick and easy to be mounted or attached with an electronic appliance, such as a television and the like.
[0003]2. Description of the Related Art
[0004]A conventional shelving unit comprises a support frame and a backplane combined with the support frame. The stand is used to store a component, such as a television, video player or speaker and the like. The backplane is assembled or disassembled by a plurality of locking screws or tools. However, a user has to in turn screw or unscrew the locking screws to assemble the backplane so that the conventional backplane assembly method is a very inconvenient and discourage customer from buying the shelving unit which has a backplane. The present invention provides a shelving unit whose backplane is in quick and easy assembly.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005]In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a shelving unit, comprising a backplane including an upright support, a transverse connecting rack detachably combined with the upright support, a first connecting bracket secured on the upright support, a second connecting bracket secured on the connecting rack and detachably combined with the first connecting bracket, and a fastening pin extending through the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket to combine the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket together.
[0006]The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a shelving unit whose backplane is quick and easy assembly.
[0007]Another objective of the present invention is to provide a shelving unit, wherein the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket are combined together and detached from each other by the fastening pin, so that the upright support and the connecting rack are assembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling or disassembling the backplane of the shelving unit.
[0008]A further objective of the present invention is to provide a shelving unit, wherein the backplane of the shelving unit has a simplified construction, thereby decreasing the costs of fabrication.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017]Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-3, a shelving unit in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a backplane including an upright support 2, a transverse connecting rack 1 detachably combined with the upright support 2, a first connecting bracket 21 secured on the upright support 2, a second connecting bracket 11 secured on the connecting rack 1 and detachably combined with the first connecting bracket 21, and a fastening pin 22 extending through the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 to combine the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 together.
[0018]The first connecting bracket 21 of the backplane has a side provided with a hollow mounting seat 210. The mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 has an inner portion provided with a receiving space 211. The mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 is provided with two opposite protruding ears 212, and the receiving space 211 of the mounting seat 210 is located between the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210. Each of the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210 is provided with a first through hole 213.
[0019]The second connecting bracket 11 of the backplane has a side provided with a mounting post 111 combined with the mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 by the fastening pin 22. The mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 is inserted into the receiving space 211 of the mounting seat 210 and is clamped between the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210. The mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 is provided with a second through hole 112.
[0020]The fastening pin 22 extends through the first through hole 213 of each of the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210 and the second through hole 112 of the mounting post 111 to combine the mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 and the mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 together.
[0021]In assembly, the mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 is inserted into the receiving space 211 of the mounting seat 210 and is clamped between the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210. Then, the fastening pin 22 extends through the first through hole 213 of each of the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210 and the second through hole 112 of the mounting post 111 to combine the mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 and the mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 together and to combine the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 together so as to mount the connecting rack 1 onto the upright support 2.
[0022]On the contrary, after the fastening pin 22 is removed from the first through hole 213 of each of the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210 and the second through hole 112 of the mounting post 111, the mounting post 111 of the second connecting bracket 11 can be detached from the receiving space 211 of the mounting seat 210 so as to detach the connecting rack 1 from the upright support 2.
[0023]Accordingly, the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 are combined together and detached from each other by the fastening pin 22, so that the upright support 2 and the connecting rack 1 are assembled and disassembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the backplane of the shelving unit. In addition, the backplane of the shelving unit has a simplified construction, thereby decreasing the costs of fabrication and inconvenient to customers.
[0024]Referring to FIGS. 4-6 with reference to FIG. 2, the shelving unit further comprises a support frame 3, and the upright support 2 of the backplane is detachably mounted on the support frame 3.
[0025]The support frame 3 is provided with at least one locking hole 32. The locking hole 32 of the support frame 3 has an upper end provided with a circular passage 320 and a lower end provided with an elongate locking slot 322 having a dimension smaller than that of the circular passage 320. The support frame 3 is further provided with a positioning hole 31. The positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3 is located above the locking hole 32 of the support frame 3.
[0026]The upright support 2 of the backplane is provided with at least one locking knob 24 detachably locked in the locking hole 32 of the support frame 3. The guide post 240 of the locking knob 24 is inserted through the circular passage 320 of the locking hole 32 and is detachably locked in the locking slot 322 of the locking hole 32. The locking piece 242 of the locking knob 24 has a dimension equal to that of the circular passage 320 of the locking hole 32 and greater than that of the locking slot 322 of the locking hole 32.
[0027]The upright support 2 of the backplane is further provided with a positioning plug 23 detachably positioned in the positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3. The positioning plug 23 of the upright support 2 is located above the locking knob 24 of the upright support 2 and is directed downward toward the positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3. The positioning plug 23 of the upright support 2 is attached to the upright support 2 by a fixing strut 230. The positioning plug 23 of the upright support 2 is positioned in the positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3 when the locking knob 24 of the upright support 2 is locked in the locking hole 32 of the support frame 3 and is detached from the positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3 when the locking knob 24 of the upright support 2 is unlocked from the locking hole 32 of the support frame 3.
[0028]In assembly, when the upright support 2 of the backplane is mounted on the support frame 3, the locking piece 242 of the locking knob 24 extends through and protrudes outwardly from the circular passage 320 of the locking hole 32. Then, the upright support 2 of the backplane is moved downward relative to the support frame 3 by the gravity of the backplane so that the guide post 240 of the locking knob 24 is inserted into and locked in the locking slot 322 of the locking hole 32, and the locking piece 242 of the locking knob 24 is locked onto the locking slot 322 of the locking hole 32. At the same time, the positioning plug 23 of the upright support 2 is moved downward and positioned in the positioning hole 31 of the support frame 3 when the locking piece 242 of the locking knob 24 is locked onto the locking slot 322 of the locking hole 32.
[0029]Referring to FIG. 7 with reference to FIGS. 4-6, the support frame 3 is further provided with at least one screw bore 33. The screw bore 33 of the support frame 3 is located above the locking hole 32 of the support frame 3. The upright support 2 of the backplane is further provided with at least one fixing bore 25. The fixing bore 25 of the upright support 2 is located above the locking knob 24 of the upright support 2. The shelving unit further comprises at least one fastening bolt 4 extending through the fixing bore 25 of the upright support 2 and screwed into the screw bore 33 of the support frame 3 to combine the upright support 2 and the support frame 3 together.

Claims:
1. A shelving unit, comprising:a backplane including:an upright support;a
transverse connecting rack detachably combined with the upright support;a
first connecting bracket secured on the upright support;a second
connecting bracket secured on the connecting rack and detachably combined
with the first connecting bracket;a fastening pin extending through the
first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket to combine the
first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket together.

The shelving unit of claim 1, whereinthe first connecting bracket of the backplane has a side provided with a hollow mounting seat;the second connecting bracket of the backplane has a side provided with a mounting post combined with the mounting seat of the first connecting bracket by the fastening pin.
3. The shelving unit of claim 2, whereinthe mounting seat of the first connecting bracket has an inner portion provided with a receiving space;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is inserted into the receiving space of the mounting seat.

The shelving unit of claim 3, whereinthe mounting seat of the first connecting bracket is provided with two opposite protruding ears;the receiving space of the mounting seat is located between the two protruding ears of the mounting seat;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is clamped between the two protruding ears of the mounting seat.
5. The shelving unit of claim 4, whereineach of the two protruding ears of the mounting seat is provided with a first through hole;the mounting post of the second connecting bracket is provided with a second through hole;the fastening pin extends through the first through hole of each of the two protruding ears of the mounting seat and the second through hole of the mounting post to combine the mounting seat of the first connecting bracket and the mounting post of the second connecting bracket together.
6. The shelving unit of claim 1, whereinthe shelving unit further comprises a support frame;the upright support of the backplane is detachably mounted on the support frame.
7. The shelving unit of claim 6, whereinthe support frame is provided with at least one locking hole;the upright support of the backplane is provided with at least one locking knob detachably locked in the locking hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 7, whereinthe locking hole of the support frame has an upper end provided with a circular passage and a lower end provided with an elongate locking slot having a dimension smaller than that of the circular passage;the locking knob of the upright support has a first end provided with a guide post protruding outwardly from the upright support and a second end provided with a circular locking piece inserted through the circular passage of the locking hole and locked onto the locking slot of the locking hole.
9. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the guide post of the locking knob is inserted through the circular passage of the locking hole and is detachably locked in the locking slot of the locking hole.
10. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the locking piece of the locking knob has a dimension equal to that of the circular passage of the locking hole and greater than that of the locking slot of the locking hole.
11. The shelving unit of claim 8, whereinthe support frame is further provided with a positioning hole;the upright support of the backplane is further provided with a positioning plug detachably positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 11, whereinthe positioning hole of the support frame is located above the locking hole of the support frame;the positioning plug of the upright support is located above the locking knob of the upright support and is directed downward toward the positioning hole of the support frame.
13. The shelving unit of claim 11, wherein the positioning plug of the upright support is attached to the upright support by a fixing strut.

The shelving unit of claim 11, whereinthe positioning plug of the upright support is positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame when the locking knob of the upright support is locked in the locking hole of the support frame;the positioning plug of the upright support is detached from the positioning hole of the support frame when the locking knob of the upright support is unlocked from the locking hole of the support frame.
15. The shelving unit of claim 8, wherein the locking piece of the locking knob extends through and protrudes outwardly from the circular passage of the locking hole.

The shelving unit of claim 11, wherein when the upright support of the backplane is moved downward relative to the support frame, the guide post of the locking knob is inserted into and locked in the locking slot of the locking hole, the locking piece of the locking knob is locked onto the locking slot of the locking hole, and the positioning plug of the upright support is moved downward and positioned in the positioning hole of the support frame.

The shelving unit of claim 8, whereinthe support frame is further provided with at least one screw bore;the upright support of the backplane is further provided with at least one fixing bore;the shelving unit further comprises at least one fastening bolt extending through the fixing bore of the upright support and screwed into the screw bore of the support frame to combine the upright support and the support frame together.
18. The shelving unit of claim 17, whereinthe screw bore of the support frame is located above the locking hole of the support frame;the fixing bore of the upright support is located above the locking knob of the upright support.

[0002]The present invention relates to a quick and easy assembled backplane on a shelving unit and, more particularly, to a shelving unit whose backplane is quick and easy to be mounted or attached with an electronic appliance, such as a television and the like.

[0004]A conventional shelving unit comprises a support frame and a backplane combined with the support frame. The stand is used to store a component, such as a television, video player or speaker and the like. The backplane is assembled or disassembled by a plurality of locking screws or tools. However, a user has to in turn screw or unscrew the locking screws to assemble the backplane so that the conventional backplane assembly method is a very inconvenient and discourage customer from buying the shelving unit which has a backplane. The present invention provides a shelving unit whose backplane is in quick and easy assembly.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005]In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a shelving unit, comprising a backplane including an upright support, a transverse connecting rack detachably combined with the upright support, a first connecting bracket secured on the upright support, a second connecting bracket secured on the connecting rack and detachably combined with the first connecting bracket, and a fastening pin extending through the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket to combine the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket together.
[0006]The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a shelving unit whose backplane is quick and easy assembly.
[0007]Another objective of the present invention is to provide a shelving unit, wherein the first connecting bracket and the second connecting bracket are combined together and detached from each other by the fastening pin, so that the upright support and the connecting rack are assembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling or disassembling the backplane of the shelving unit.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017]Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-3, a shelving unit in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a backplane including an upright support 2, a transverse connecting rack 1 detachably combined with the upright support 2, a first connecting bracket 21 secured on the upright support 2, a second connecting bracket 11 secured on the connecting rack 1 and detachably combined with the first connecting bracket 21, and a fastening pin 22 extending through the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 to combine the first connecting bracket 21 and the second connecting bracket 11 together.
[0018]The first connecting bracket 21 of the backplane has a side provided with a hollow mounting seat 210. The mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 has an inner portion provided with a receiving space 211. The mounting seat 210 of the first connecting bracket 21 is provided with two opposite protruding ears 212, and the receiving space 211 of the mounting seat 210 is located between the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210. Each of the two protruding ears 212 of the mounting seat 210 is provided with a first through hole 213.

The locking hole 32 of the support frame 3 has an upper end provided with a circular passage 320 and a lower end provided with an elongate locking slot 322 having a dimension smaller than that of the circular passage 320.
