20090027136 | ACTIVE ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE FILTER CIRCUIT FOR SUPPRESSING A LINE CONDUCTED INTERFERENCE SIGNAL - The invention relates to an Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) filter circuit (Fa) for suppressing a Line Conducted Interference (LCI) signal. The EMI filter circuit (Fa) comprises a filter inductance (Lo) to carry a supply current (Isup) between a supply voltage (Vsup) and a load (L). The EMI filter circuit (Fa) further comprises an active circuit (Ca), arranged in parallel with the filter inductance (Lo). The active circuit (Ca) comprises a sensing circuit (Mm) to sense the LCI signal and further comprises a suppressing circuit (Ms) to suppress the LCI signal. In an embodiment of the active EMI filter circuit (Fa), the active circuit (Ca) comprises a negative inductance generating circuit to create a negative inductance value. Selecting the negative inductance generating circuit to create an inductance value (Lca) larger than the inductance value of the filter inductance (Lo) creates a resulting inductance (Lr) which is higher compared to the inductance value of the filter inductance (Lo). In one embodiment, the negative inductance generating circuit comprises a negative impedance converter. | 01-29-2009 |

20150086038 | TIME-FREQUENCY DIRECTIONAL PROCESSING OF AUDIO SIGNALS - An approach to processing of acoustic signals acquired at a user's device include one or both of acquisition of parallel signals from a set of closely spaced microphones, and use of a multi-tier computing approach in which some processing is performed at the user's device and further processing is performed at one or more server computers in communication with the user's device. The acquired signals are processed using time versus frequency estimates of both energy content as well as direction of arrival. In some examples, a non-negative matrix or tensor factorization approach is used to identify multiple sources each associated with a corresponding direction of arrival of a signal from that source. In some examples, data characterizing direction of arrival information is passed from the user's device to a server computer where direction-based processing is performed. | 03-26-2015 |

20140249343 | METHOD AND CATALYST FOR THE ALKYLATION OF AROMATIC COMPOUNDS WITH ALKANES - Disclosed is a process for the direct alkylation of aromatic compounds with alkanes. To this end a judicious catalyst combination is provided. The composition comprises palladium as a catalytically active metal, and zinc as a promoter, or a metal such as tin having a comparable promoting action. The metals are contained in a zeolite support, or a similar support of a metal organic framework type or a silico alumino phosphate type. | 09-04-2014 |
