20110154971 | Apparatus for Cutting Reinforced Hose with Reduced Interior Hose Contamination - A device for cutting reinforced hose to length with limited contamination gaining access to the interior of the hose is disclosed. The device may employ a first rotating blade to circumferentially cut through an outer cover of the hose without penetrating through an interior liner of the hose. The outer cover may be composed of an elastomeric cover reinforced with metallic strands. By preventing the first blade from penetrating the interior liner, the contamination from the kerf created by the blade is not able to access the interior of the hose. After the first blade performs its partial cut around the outer circumference of the hose, the hose may be cleaned and a second blade may be used to cut through the interior liner. The second blade results in very little contamination and thus a cut length of hydraulic hose is created with greatly reduced levels of contamination within the hose without needing a post-cutting cleaning operation. | 06-30-2011 |
20150330061 | Replaceable Wear Member and Replaceable Wear Member System - A wear member of a mechanically attached wear plate system having a mounting base for attachment to a wear surface and a retainer member adapted to retain the wear member in an engaged position on the mounting base. The wear member is coupled to the mounting base by a rotary movement to engage an engagement surface of a dovetail flange extending from a wear member mounting side with a mounting base engagement surface. Abutment surfaces of the wear member and mounting base are disposed abutting opposite sides of the retainer member positioned in the retainer opening of the mounting base. | 11-19-2015 |

20160130790 | WEAR MEMBER FOR TOOL - A wear member for a tool may have a generally planar first wear member portion defining an opening. The first wear member portion may also have a first inward surface defining a projection adjacent the opening for removably coupling the wear member to a mounting base attached to the tool. The wear member may also have a generally planar second wear member portion extending from the first wear member portion in a direction generally perpendicular to the first wear member portion. The second wear member portion may also have a second inward surface contiguous with the first inward surface. The first and second inward surfaces may define a receiving pocket configured to receive the mounting base, and the projection may be positioned completely within the receiving pocket. | 05-12-2016 |
20160130791 | MOUNTING BASE FOR WEAR MEMBER - A mounting base for removably coupling a wear member to a tool may have a generally planar first base portion, which may have an inward surface configured to be attached to the tool. The mounting base may also have a generally planar second base portion extending from the first base portion in a direction generally perpendicular to the first base portion. The second base portion may have an inward surface configured to be attached to the tool. The first base portion may define an opening including a notch-shaped portion and a rectangle-shaped portion. | 05-12-2016 |
