20150115106 | SEPARATION SYSTEM AND BURN WIRE RELEASE MECHANISM FOR TETHERED SPACECRAFT - A tethered spacecraft has a first endmass and a second endmass with a telescoping stacer spring and a tether arranged between the endmasses. The spring is coiled around a center rod and initially contained within a housing, the spring being biased to push the first endmass away from the second endmass. The spring housing is affixed to the first endmass, a first end of the spring being affixed to the spring housing, and tether are affixed to spring at one end and to the second endmass at the other end. A pretensioned loop holds the endmasses abuttingly together, and a burnwire release mechanism cuts the loop to deploy the spring. Upon deployment, the spring extends to its full length to form a cylindrical boom, and the endmasses continue to move outward along the spring centerline until stopped by the tether. | 04-30-2015 |

20150298128 | COEXTRUDED PLASTIC CAPILLARY TUBE - Coextruded plastic capillary tube and method of manufacturing a coextruded tube for collecting a volume of liquid. The tube is disposable, inexpensive to manufacture and can reliably draw blood and other aqueous based fluids into the tube by capillary action, at a fluid uptake level comparable to glass and other commercially pre-treated plastic tubes, without requiring further interior coating. | 10-22-2015 |

20100320797 | Molding for sealing a motor vehicle windshield with a cowl panel - A molding is extruded of plastics materials and includes a first body portion adhesively attached to a bottom edge portion of a motor vehicle windshield and a second body portion defining a cavity which receives a projecting dart portion of a removable cowl panel located adjacent the windshield. The molding includes a co-extruded flexible tooth portion having a durometer different from the durometer of the first and second body portions. The tooth portion projects into the cavity to retain the dart portion of the cowl panel, but flexes downwardly when the dart portion is inserted into the cavity and flexes upwardly when the dart portion is pulled or peeled upwardly from the cavity when removing the cowl panel. The first body portion may extend around the edge portion of the windshield or may be attached to only an inner surface and an edge surface of the windshield. | 12-23-2010 |

20090212588 | Trim molding for a motor vehicle window panel - A motor vehicle window panel has a peripheral trim molding formed by an extruded body of plastics material, and the body includes a mounting flange and a vehicle body sealing flange integrally connected by an intermediate connecting portion. The mounting flange carries a pressure sensitive contact adhesive tape which bonds to an inner surface of the window panel, and the intermediate connecting portion has an internal stabilizing strip and a durometer greater than the durometer of the mounting flange and of the sealing flange. The molding may be supported within a fixture for receiving the window panel or may carry a tear-off locating flange which slides against an edge surface of the window panel to locate the molding on the panel. The mounting flange may carry a spacer rib, and the mounting flange, sealing flange and connecting portion are located inwardly of the inner surface of the window panel. | 08-27-2009 |
