20100219110 | Sifting Screens - A frame over which woven wire mesh is to be stretched and secured to form a sieving screen and which can be used to screen solids from drilling mud recovered from down-hole when drilling for oil or gas. The frame is a rectilinear moulded plastics frame having edge regions by which it is secured in place in a shaker. Within the frame is a plurality of rectilinear windows formed by an orthogonal array of intersecting ribs also of moulded plastics material. Some of the ribs are internally reinforced by rigid metal members which extend orthogonally between hollow box-section members which define a sub-frame for reinforcing the four edge regions of the frame. The orthogonal members are secured at their ends to the sub-frame. The ends of the sub-frame members are joined at the four corners of the sub-frame. In this way not are only the edge regions of the frame reinforced internally but so also are some of the orthogonally intersecting ribs, so as thereby to produce a rigid frame for the screen. The internal reinforcement for those ribs which are to be reinforced may comprise hollow box-section metal members which may be of similar cross section to that of the sub-frame members, or the internal reinforcement for those ribs which are to be reinforced comprises metal I-beam cross section members, which typically have the same height as the height of the box-section members forming the sub frame. | 09-02-2010 |

20090243927 | Method for estimating hidden channel parameters of a GNSS navigation signal received in a multipath environment - For the reduction of the multipath error of received GNSS navigation signals, a sequential Bayesian estimation is used, with a movement model forming the basis of the estimation, which model is designed especially for dynamic channel scenarios and takes into account the speeds of change and the variable life cycles of the path. The estimator is implemented as a recursive Bayesian filter for a combined determination of positions and suppression of multipaths. The binding of the delay of the direct path is taken into consideration via position and clock parameters. Application with GNSS satellite navigation receivers, e.g. GPS and Galileo. | 10-01-2009 |
20120232795 | METHOD FOR CREATING A MAP RELATING TO LOCATION-RELATED DATA ON THE PROBABILITY OF FUTURE MOVEMENT OF A PERSON - The invention relates to a method for creating a map relating to location-related data on the likelihood of the future movement of a person in a spatial environment, such as a building, forest, tunnel system or public place, and in particular a shopping center, airport or train station. In the method according to the invention, at least one person is supplied with one or more sensors (e.g. inertial sensors, rotation rate sensors, optical sensors) for odometrical measurement (odometry) (e.g. attached to a shoe), wherein the odometry has errors due to inherent measurement inaccuracies of the sensor(s) (e.g. angle deviations, length deviations). The at least one person moves by foot through the spatial environment. Information regarding the pedestrian step lengths and/or pedestrian step direction and/or orientation of the sensor or the person (called odometry information Z | 09-13-2012 |
20140085465 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LOCATING A PERSON - The method for locating a person, particularly within a building, first of all involves capturing the movement of at least one foot of the pedestrian by using an inertial sensor arranged in or on the shoe of the user. In addition, it involves capturing those phases of time during the movement of the pedestrian in which the internal sensor does not measure any further essential acceleration apart from acceleration due to gravity. Hence, quiescent phases of the foot and/or the shoe of the pedestrian are captured in which the foot or the shoe is essentially not moving. During a large number of the detected quiescent phases of the foot and/or the shoe, an image of the surroundings of the pedestrian is recorded by a camera arranged in or on the shoe. By processing the images from at least two quiescent phases, particularly quiescent phases at successive times, a movement of the foot and/or of the shoe is ascertained. The at least one inertial sensor can then be calibrated using the movement of the foot or of the shoe which is ascertained from the images. | 03-27-2014 |

When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions cause the system to receive a cornering attitude signal from the cornering attitude input, determine when an understeer cornering attitude exists based on the received cornering attitude signal, and prevent the application of the plurality of trailer brakes by the trailer brake output circuit when the understeer cornering attitude is determined to exist. | 11-27-2014 |

20130294946 | PUMP FOR USE IN STEAM CLEANING DEVICES - A water pump for use in steam cleaning devices includes a plunger pump with check valve and a transmission assembly. The plunger pump with check valve includes a water inlet and a water outlet. The transmission assembly includes a gear transmission system, an eccentric wheel, and a plunger pump push block. The output shaft of the gear transmission system drives rotation of an eccentric wheel. The push block has a reset structure which makes one end of the push block engage the eccentric wheel. The other end of the push block engages a plunger of the plunger pump with check valve. The pump has a simple structural arrangement, requires no additional power source, and provides consistent water flow at a low manufacturing cost. | 11-07-2013 |
20140047657 | BRUSH FOR USE IN STEAM CLEANING DEVICES - A floor cleaner brush arrangement includes a housing having mounted thereto a plurality of adjacent rotating brush assemblies. The rotating brush assemblies each include bristles extending there-from downwardly to the floor and outwardly into an overlapping and intermeshing relationship with the bristles of the brush assembly or assemblies adjacent thereto. The bristles of adjacent brush assemblies cooperate when rotating to contact the floor in overlapping fashion to eliminate cleaning blind spots. | 02-20-2014 |

20150064685 | System and Method for Automatically Attaching a Tag and Highlight in a Single Action - A system and methods are disclosed for enabling users to attach a tag and highlight in a single action or activity to a select piece or portion of text in digital content (e.g., in a digital book or other content provided for viewing on an electronic device). In some implementations, the teacher may associate a tag with a particular text in the assignment, push the assignment embedding the tag to one or more students, and the tag becomes automatically visible to the one or more students through their highlight menu when they open up the assignment for completion. In some implementations, with this single activity, users may easily share tasks, comments etc., with ease. One or more other activities are also used among teachers and students to create and execute assignments with efficiency. | 03-05-2015 |
