20110215210 | Mount and Leveling System - The present invention involves a projector mount and leveling system for securely connecting and aligning a working unit, such as a projector, to the ceiling of a room. The present invention has a ceiling component with upper and lower sections, the upper section of the ceiling component attaches to a mounting surface, typically the mounting surface is a ceiling, a mounting bracket connects to the lower section of the ceiling component; a plurality of offset articulated legs, each offset articulated leg having a proximal end, and a distal end with a threaded leveling barrel opening; and threaded leveling barrels, wherein the offset articulated legs connect to the mounting bracket at the proximal end, and the offset articulated legs connect at the distal ends to a projector with the threaded leveling barrels. | 09-08-2011 |
20110297809 | PROJECTOR MOUNT WITH MICRO ADJUSTMENT - The present invention involves a projector mount and micro adjustment capability which allows a projector to be mounted to fixed object (f ex ceiling), rough adjustment to be made with the ceiling mount and then fine adjustments to be made by a micro adjusting mechanism. The micro adjustor provides for a fluid pitch, yaw and roll adjustment without hanging up in place, which might throw off the adjustments. An installation and alignment tool is also provided. A method of adjustment and installation is also disclosed. | 12-08-2011 |
20120305727 | Quick Release Mechanism For Hanging Projector Mount with Safety Features - A safety feature for a spindle swivel has a cylindrical portion that fits inside a spindle receiver. The spindle swivel and spindle receiver have a wavy interface between them that ensures at least one preferred azimuthal orientation between them when they are forced together. A twist lock collar is pivotally attached to the spindle receiver, and may be rotated by a user around a central axis, against the action of a torsion spring, from a locked position to an unlocked position. In the locked position, various ramps inside the twist lock collar force respective steel balls radially inward through respective holes in the spindle receiver to engage respective notches in the cylindrical portion of the spindle swivel. In the unlocked position, the ramps decrease the radial inward force on the steel balls, disengaging them from the notches, and the spindle swivel may be separated from the spindle receiver by the user. The safety feature unlocks only some of the balls from their recesses. The remaining balls are forced thru a channel which prevents direct removal of the spindle without rotation thereof, preventing accidental unexpected disengagement. | 12-06-2012 |
20130068913 | Thin Wire Flat Screen Mount - A flat panel display mounting system and method for hanging a display on a wall or the like. The mounting system employs at least two outrigger spindles attached to the back of a display and by flexible wire to a central core element which is removably and slideably attached to a wall. The wire passes from the spindles to the core where it is tensioned within a one way sliding lock using a wedge element which traps the wire between the wedge and a housing Another embodiment includes additional spindles with a kick stand to tilt the panel away from the wall for connection access. | 03-21-2013 |
