20120312205 | WOODKILN MOLDED COMBUSTION CHAMBER - The molded combustion chamber described herein is an improvement on prior art with a number of significant advantages. A single molded piece replaces many fabricated pieces of board and brick with uniformity of material and lower cost. It can be used by itself as a replacement for a grate in a wood/gas fireplace or as the key element of a metal or masonry fabricated fireplace. It can be molded up to 3″ in thickness, so that the focus can be on insulation and reflection rather than surface durability. The spherical baffle serves as a secondary combustion area, so that all flames are visible and significantly more heat is radiated into the living space. This design is more efficient and less costly than most EPA certified wood heaters with a secondary combustion chamber or catalytic converter. This design will also help a gas appliance meet the DOE efficiency goal. The absence of a grate and the insulating quality of the material used enable a very small coal bed to ignite new fuel. This is user friendly and facilitates the loading of a single large (all-nighter) log for a slow burn. The top of the chamber is flat for heating water and food. This design could be used in a large fireplace and would be particularly useful in underdeveloped parts of the world where there is no other means of cooking than a fire. | 12-13-2012 |

20110081282 | Flow distribution device for downflow catalytic reactors - The invention is a fluid distribution device for coupling with a fluid distribution conduit or chimney for improving the distribution of downwardly flowing poly-phase mixture including at least one gas phase and at least one liquid phase, above at least one catalyst bed of granular solid catalytic material. The fluid distribution device for receiving the liquid and gas phases has one or more openings in the top and/or upper portion of its height through which a gas phase can enter and has a gas conduit that opens to a mixing cavity within the device. The fluid distribution device further comprises one or more lateral openings for liquid ingress. The lateral opening or openings allow the liquid to enter a liquid conduit that opens to the internal mixing cavity. The mixing cavity allows intimate contact between the liquid and gas phases. Therefore the flow distribution device of the invention provides improved tolerance for tray out of levelness. | 04-07-2011 |

20120073482 | Centrally Controlled Safe Management System - A cash management system utilizes a cloud computing model wherein a cloud of one or more servers may be locally networked or may be geographically dispersed and accessed by the client device over the Internet. The client device is a cash management safe. More than one safe may be employed in a system. Metrics, control functions, and interactions normally handled by an autonomous safe are shunted directly to a cloud server on the network. Usage data, currency validations, coin validations, security entries, etc. are communicated to the cloud server. The cloud server(s), based on database information and software settings, can transmit configuration, updates and information to remote safes. The information transmitted may include user configuration, access rules, currency configuration, alert configuration, and software and firmware updates. The cloud server based cash management system allows the entire cash management of an enterprise to be provided as a service to that enterprise. | 03-29-2012 |

20090220183 | Wheel bearing assembly - A bearing assembly having improved impact Brinell resistance is provided. Due to a controlled gap between a rotating component and a non-rotating component or a vehicle suspension structure, the non-rotating component or the vehicle suspension structure is permitted to share impact loads caused by a sufficient side impact to the rotating component, thus preventing excessive loads from being transmitted to rolling elements, and providing greater resistance against Brinell impact damage that would generate a noise and/or vibration condition in the bearing assembly. The width of the controlled gap and of the area of potential contact between the rotating component and the vehicle suspension structure or the non-rotating component are optimized to increase impact Brinell resistance while avoiding excessive contact between the rotating component and the non-rotating component or the vehicle suspension structure during extreme cornering maneuvers. | 09-03-2009 |

20130103925 | Method and System for Folding a SIMD Array - Systems and methods for folding a single instruction multiple data (SIMD) array include a newly defined processing element group (PEG) that allows interconnection of PEGs by abutment without requiring a row or column weave pattern. The interconnected PEGs form a SIMD array that is effectively folded at its center along the North-South axis, and may also be folded along the East-West axis. The folding of the array provides for north and south boundaries to be co-located and for east and west boundaries to be co-located. The co-location allows wrap-around connections to be done with a propagation distance reduced effectively to zero. | 04-25-2013 |
