20130254525 | Methods and Systems for Correlating Movement of a Device with State Changes of the Device - The present description discloses systems and methods for changing the state of a device. One embodiment may include a device configured to provide a device in a first state, receive a signal indicative of first angular data of the device, and compare the first angular data to a first threshold. The device may then execute instructions to initiate a timer when the first angular data is greater than the first threshold, receive a signal indicative of a second angular data of the device, and compare the second angular data to a second threshold. When the second angular data is less than the second threshold and the time passed is within a pre-determined time period, the device may execute instructions to transition the device to a second state. | 09-26-2013 |

20100300793 | PEDESTRIAN-PROTECTING AIR BAG ARRANGEMENT AND A METHOD OF FOLDING AND STORING A PEDESTRIAN-PROTECTING AIR BAG ARRANGEMENT - A pedestrian-protecting air bag arrangement is disclosed for a motor vehicle having a bonnet pivoted at a forward end for pivoting upwardly and forwardly. The arrangement comprises an air bag located beneath the bonnet adjacent a rear end thereof, and designed, in its deployed state, to extend across the width of the vehicle windscreen and upwardly at least partially over the windscreen, the air bag comprising a central region and lateral wings on either side of the central region. In order to ensure correctly sequenced behavior of the air bag when activated, the bag is packed in such a way that, in the pre-deployed, stowed state, the lateral wings of the air bag are folded or rolled towards the central region, to lie beneath the central region, whereby the folded lateral regions are locked initially by the central region of the air bag when the latter is inflated, but become unlocked as the central region of the bag inflates, allowing the lateral regions also to inflate to extend over the windscreen and the A-pillars. | 12-02-2010 |

20130154915 | METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR ENABLING USE OF REMOTE DEVICES WITH PRE-DEFINED GESTURES - Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are herein provided for enabling use of external devices with pre-defined gestures. A method may include receiving operation information from a remote device, wherein the operation information indicates at least one operation that may be invoked by the remote device. The method may further include associating, by a processor, at least one pre-defined gesture with the at least one operation. The method may further include receiving user input. The method may further include determining that the user input corresponds to the at least one pre-defined gesture. The method may further include causing transmission of indication information to the remote device, wherein the indication information provides an indication to the remote device to perform the at least one operation associated with the pre-defined gesture. Corresponding apparatuses and computer program products are also provided. | 06-20-2013 |

20150178365 | System And Method For Implementing Nested Relationships Within A Schemaless Database - A system for nested relationships from a schemaless database, comprising a client running an application which generates database access requests over a public or private network, a load balancer running an application which distributes the incoming database access requests from the clients across one or more API servers, and a load balancer running an application which distributes incoming database access requests from the one or more API servers across one or more database servers. The database servers implementing one or more schemaless databases across which one or more database models are distributed and the one or more API servers implementing for accessing the one or more database servers in a manner which implements nested relationships within the one or more schemaless databases in response to the incoming database requests from the load balancer. | 06-25-2015 |
