20080202047 | Gated height adjustable barrier - A barrier or partition for the inside of a house having upper and lower barrier sections that are adjustable relative to each other such that the barrier as a whole is adjustable in height. The upper and lower barrier sections have paired vertically extending support members that slide relative to each other. At least one pair of vertically extending support members have a pincher or pincher mechanism that squeezes upon one of the vertically extending support members to fix the vertically extending support members in a nonsliding fashion relative to each other. The barrier includes a gate that also includes upper and lower sections and paired vertically extending support members that slide relative to each other. Further upper and lower sections, with or without gates, may be laterally attached or detached to increase or decrease a length of the barrier. | 08-28-2008 |
20080265233 | Two-action gate requiring two steps to open - To open the two-action gate, a sliding of a latch and a lifting to disengage a double stop is required. Performing one step without the other fails to open the gate. The gate is engaged in a frame which may in turn be engaged in a partition or “inside the home” fence or other barrier. Via a thumb tab with the rest of the hand holding onto the top tube of the gate, a portion of the latch can be slid out of the frame. Then the hand may lift up the gate to lift a double stop up and clear of a lower portion of the frame such that the gate is swingable. Once the double stop is clear of the lower portion of the frame and the gate has been swung several degrees, the gate may be lowered and then swung at will. The two steps of sliding and lifting minimize the chance that children can open the gate. | 10-30-2008 |

20090273217 | ROCKER AND HOOK ON HIGH CHAIR APPARATUS - A child seat apparatus that may be engaged on the end of a table top so as to be used as a hook on high chair and that also may be set on the floor to be used as a rocker. The apparatus includes a base that includes longitudinal curved members. A rear portion of the base can be disengaged from the front portion of the base such that, when used as a hook on high chair, the rear portion can swing to an out-of-the-way position underneath front portion, so that the rear portion does not protrude into kitchen or dining room space. | 11-05-2009 |
20090293363 | Multiple piece gated pressurized barrier - A barrier that is pressurized after being assembled from multiple pieces. The barrier include a first end frame, a second end frame, and a gate engaged between the end frames. The first and second end frames are engaged at their lower members such that the first end frame and second end frame are not integral and not one-piece with each other, and such that the first and second end frames still provide for a pressurized barrier, that is a barrier that is resiliently mounted between two locations so as to be self-supporting between two locations even if spaced from the floor. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the first end frame, second end frame, and gate have generally the same length so as to minimize the storage area needed to store the barrier prior to assembly. | 12-03-2009 |
20100083577 | Quickly Slideable And Incrementally Adjustable Barrier - A barrier for the inside of a home. The barrier includes two partitions that slide relative to each other to increase and decrease a distance between ends of the barrier. The partitions slide into and out of confronting relationships with each other. The partitions engage each other at upper and lower locations and further at a medial location where an elongate member of one partition is received in a tube engaged to the other partition. A threaded piece upon being turned brings pressure to bear upon an end of the tube such that the partitions can be incrementally expanded apart and thereby pressurized between two locations within the home so as to block off one portion of the home. The threaded piece is slideable along the elongate member. | 04-08-2010 |
20100084901 | Plastic booster seat apparatus - A stackable plastic booster seat apparatus with a body having a set of four corner cylindrical portions. A right foot having cylindrical portions engages two of the corner cylindrical portions and a left foot engages the other two corner cylindrical portions. The body includes a back with a lumbar support, a seat with a safety bump and a downward and rearward slope such that a child tends to sit properly in the apparatus away from the safety bump and against the lumbar support. | 04-08-2010 |
20100089336 | Breakable down folding pet crate - A pet crate having a top, a bottom, and a cage between the top and bottom. The cage can be engaged to and disengaged from each of the top and bottom. When engaged to the top and bottom, or when disengaged from either one or both of the top and bottom, the cage is endless and can safely hold a pet therein. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable into a closed, endless and flat configuration such that the cage can be stored between the top and bottom such that the crate as a whole in such stored configuration is generally flat. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable out into a fence configuration by disconnecting two ends of the cage. | 04-15-2010 |
20100101021 | Mattress hugging bed rail - A bed rail structured to minimize the gap between the mattress and the bed rail and including a leg portion and a rail portion. The rail portion extends upwardly on a first side of the mattress to extend beyond the sleeping surface of the mattress and prevent a person from rolling out of bed. The leg portion is sandwiched between the mattress and the box spring and extends toward a second side of the mattress. In one embodiment, the leg portion includes a distal end that is engaged to the second side of at least one of the mattress and box spring such that the distal end and rail portion hug the mattress. In another embodiment, the bed rail includes a relatively rigid cover depending from an upper portion of the rail portion to the sleeping surface so as to cover a gap that may exist between the first side of the mattress and the rail portion. In still another embodiment, the rail portion is set at an acute angle relative to the leg portion so as to tend to close off any gap between the first side of the mattress and the rail portion.
