20080282211 | METHODOLOGY TO IMPROVE TURNAROUND FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DESIGN - A method of designing a layout for manufacturing an integrated circuit is provided, in which computationally intensive portions of the design process, such as simulation of an image transferred through a mask design, or simulation of electrical characteristics of a circuit, are performed more efficiently by only performing such computations on single instance of computational subunits that have an identical geometrical context. Thus, rather than performing such computations based on the functional layout, for which typical design process steps result in significant flattening of the functional hierarchy, and therefore increase the cost of computation, the invention performs simulations on computational subunits stored in a hierarchy based on geometrical context, which minimizes the cost of simulation. The resulting simulation results are subsequently assembled according to the functional layout. | 11-13-2008 |

20090064137 | Method and Apparatus for Determining a Service Cluster Topology Based on Static Analysis - The service assignment tool analyzes a service to determine whether the service can execute on a cluster. If the service cannot execute on a cluster, the service is assigned to a single virtual machine. The service assignment tool identifies non-cluster friendly services by performing a static analysis on the bytecode of the service. The bytecode of the service is analyzed by comparing each segment of bytecode to a list of known good and bad coding conventions. If each segment of bytecode in a service meets the good coding convention criteria, then the service is cluster friendly. If one segment of bytecode does not meet the good coding convention criteria, then the entire service is considered to be not cluster friendly. | 03-05-2009 |

20140301619 | System and Method for Diagnostic Vector Classification Support - The diagnostic vector classification support system and method disclosed herein may both reduce the time and effort required to train radiologists to interpret medical images, and provide a decision support system for trained radiologists who, regardless of training, have the potential to miss relevant findings. In an embodiment, a morphological image is used to identify a zone of interest in a co-registered functional image. An operator's grading of a feature at least partially contained within the zone of interest is compared to one or more computer-generated grades for the feature. Where the operator and computer-generated grades differ, diagnostic support can be provided such as displaying additional images, revising the zone of interest, annotating one or more displayed images, displaying a computer-generated feature grade, among other possibilities disclosed herein. | 10-09-2014 |

20110095951 | Conformal High Frequency Antenna - Antennas, integrated driveshaft covers, and methods are disclosed. A particular antenna includes a dielectric layer. The dielectric layer has a first curved surface and a second curved surface opposite the first curved surface. A conductive body has a curved outer surface, where the first curved surface of the dielectric layer is positioned against the curved outer surface. A high frequency (HF) antenna layer is positioned over positioned over the second curved surface of the dielectric layer, where the HF antenna layer is curved to conform to the second curved surface of the dielectric layer. A pair of contacts may be configured to receive an electrical connection for the HF antenna layer. When an HF signal is applied to the pair of contacts, the conductive body interacts with the HF antenna layer to radiate energy. | 04-28-2011 |

20130300617 | Conformal High Frequency Antenna - An integrated driveshaft cover antenna includes a driveshaft cover including a conductive layer and having a generally curved cross-section. The driveshaft cover is hingeably secured and electrically coupled to a helicopter tail boom section to cover a driveshaft access opening. The integrated drive shaft cover includes a dielectric layer including a first surface shaped to conform to a curved outer surface of the driveshaft cover and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first surface of the dielectric layer is positioned over the curved outer surface of the driveshaft cover. The first surface is secured to the curved outer surface of the driveshaft cover. The integrated drive shaft cover includes a slotted patch high frequency (HF) antenna layer having an inner slot and extends a majority of a length of the dielectric layer. The slotted patch HF antenna layer is secured to the second surface of the dielectric layer | 11-14-2013 |
20150109177 | MULTI-BAND ANTENNA - A compact multi-band antenna structure consisting of overlapping elements formed like tree rings is described. A dipole multi-band antenna includes a first arm having a first conductive cylinder with a predetermined length corresponding to a first frequency and a second conductive cylinder having a predetermined length corresponding to a second frequency positioned over the first conductive cylinder without contact between the first conductive cylinder and the second conductive cylinder. A first end of the first conductive cylinder is in the same plane as and is electrically coupled to a first end of the second conductive cylinder. A second arm is similarly formed. A feed line is coupled to the first and second conductive cylinders and to the cylinders in the second arm. Additional frequencies may be added by similarly stacking additional conductive cylinders. The structure is also applied to monopole, circular, spiral, helical and slot antennas. | 04-23-2015 |
